ALAT PENGUSIR TIKUS OTOMATIS

Tikus merupakan hewan pengerat yang keberadaannya kadangkala mengganggu aktifitas manusia. Rentang frekuensi pendengaran dari tikus adalah di bawah 45 KHz. Pada tugas akhir ini dilakukan perancangan pembangkit frekuensi ultrasonik (20 KHz s/d 60 KHz) menggunakan sebuah mikrokontroler (ATmega8). Dengan tujuan utamanya adalah mengamati respon tingkah laku tikus (objek percobaan pada tugas akhir ini) terhadap perubahan frekuensi pada daerah kerja yang dimaksud (20 KHz s/d 60 KHz), pemancaran frekuensi ini disalurkan melalui tweeter yang mampu beroperasi sampai frekuensi 50 KHz. Tikus yang akan dijadikan objek pada tugas akhir ini, sebelumnya telah dibiasakan untuk makan dan minum di satu tempat tertentu (di dalam labirin), kemudian untuk melakukan pengamatan, alat ini diletakkan pada daerah di mana tikus sering berkumpul untuk sekedar makan dan minum tersebut dengan menggunakan sensor Passive infrared sebagai pendeteksi tikus. Alat ini secara nyata mampu mempengaruhi respon tingkah laku dari tikus yang dimaksud pada range frekuensi 20 KHz s/d 60 KHz.

Mice are rodent that sometime bothering human's activity. The hearing frequency distence of them is below 45 KHz. On this final task, the planning of ultrasonic frequency generator (20 KHz until 60KHz) is done by using a microcontroller (ATmega8) The main goal is to observe the mice's behaviour respond (the specimen object of this final task) of the frequency changes in a specific work area (20 KHz until 60KHz), this frequency radiating is boarded through a tweeter that is able to reach 50 KHz. The mice that will become the specimen object on this final taks got to used to eat and drink in a specific place on the labyrinth with Passive Infrared sensor to detected object, then to do the observation, this tool was placed on that specific area. This tool is obviously able to influence the rat's behaviour respond in frequency range from 20 KHz until 60KHz
