KONTRIBUSI PENDAPATAN LUAR USAHATANI PADA EKONOMI RUMAH TANGGA PETANI DAN PEMERATAAN PENDAPATAN DI DESA UMBULREJO KECAMATAN PONJONG KABUPATEN GUNUNGKIDUL

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui keadaan ekonomi rumah tangga petani ditinjau dari sumber pendapatan, kemiskinan dan kesejahteraan, (2) menghitung kontribusi pendapatan luar usahatani pada pendapatan rumah tangga petani, (3) mengetahui kontribusi pendapatan luar usahatani pada pemerataan pendapatan rumah tangga petani, (4) mengetahui kontribusi pendapatan luar usahatani pada pengentasan kemiskinan, (5) mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pendapatan luar usahatani. Metode dasar penelitian ini adalah deskriptif analitis, penentuan responden ditentukan secara random (simple random sampling) yaitu 40 petani pemilik penggarap di Desa Umbulrejo, Kecamatan Ponjong, Kabupaten Gunungkidul. Analisis data dilakukan dengan indikator kemiskinan, indikator kesejahteraan, Koefisien Gini, Kurva Lorenz, kriteria Bank Dunia, analisis tabel dan analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa menurut kriteria Sajogyo, BPS Kabupaten Gunungkidul, ADB dan World Bank rumah tangga petani tergolong tidak miskin namun tergolong miskin menurut kriteria FAO dan tergolong sejahtera menurut Kriteria GSR. Kontribusi pendapatan luar usahatani lebih kecil dari kontribusi pendapatan usahatani pada pendapatan rumah tangga petani. Pendapatan luar usahatani memiliki peran dalam memperbaiki ketimpangan pendapatan dan mengentaskan kemiskinan. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pendapatan luar usahatani adalah pendidikan, pendapatan usahatani dan jenis pekerjaan. Meningkatkannya pendidikan akan meningkatkan pendapatan luar usahatani, meningkatnya pendapatan usahatani akan menurunkan pendapatan luar usahatani, dan pendapatan luar usahatani dari PNS, TNI dan berdagang lebih besar dari pekerjaan luar usahatani lain.

This research was conducted (1) to know the condition of the economy of farm household source of income, poverty and welfare, (2) to calculate the contribution of off-farm income on farm household income, (3) to know the contribution off-farm income on farm household income equalization, (4) to know the contribution of off-farm income on poverty reduction, (5) to find out the factors that influence the off-farm income. The basic method of this research was descriptive analysis, simple random sampling method was applied to determine for 40 respondents, they were farmers in Umbulrejo village, Ponjong sub district, Gunungkidul regency. Data analysis has been proceed with the poverty indicators, Gini Coefficient, welfare indicator, Lorenz Curve, World Bank criteria, table analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. The analysis showed that according to the criteria of Sajogyo, BPS Kabupaten Gunungkidul, the ADB and World Bank farm household is not indigent but relatively poor according to the criteria of the FAO and prosperous according to criteria of GSR. Off-farm income contribution is smaller than the contribution of on-farm income on farm household income. Off-farm income has a role to improve income inequality and poverty reduction. The factors that affecting off-farm income are education, on-farm income and the type of work. Upgrading education would increase on-farm income, the increased on-farm would decrease the income from off-farm, and off-farm income of civil servants, military and trade are larger than others.
