Sistem kontrol dan monitoring temperatur pada peralatan atau mesin industri adalah bagian yang sangat penting, karena dengan sistem itu dapat menghindari terjadinya kerusakan atau kerugian materil yang sangat fatal. Namun permasalahannya sistem kontrol dan monitoring temperatur yang sudah diterapkan di dunia industri sudah sangat kompleks dan mahal, sehingga sangat tidak mungkin untuk diaplikasikan diluar industri tersebut. Hal ini yang mendasari pembuatan tugas akhir ini. Pada tugas akhir ini, cara yang dilakukan untuk menyelesaikannya adalah dengan mempelajari apa itu sistem kontrol dan monitoring, serta aspek-aspek apa saja yang ada pada sistem tersebut seperti pemrograman, skematik rangkaian, sensor-sensor, dan lain-lain. Tugas akhir ini menghasilkan ,desain sistem kontrol dan monitoring yang di integrasikan dengan sistem informasi seperti yang ada pada dunia industry, tetapi dalam skala kecil, sehingga dapat digunakan untuk sarana pembelajaran dalam dunia pendidikan.

Temperature control and monitoring system is the important part of equipments or industry machines, because it can be used to minimalize a component damage and reduce lossing materials. This system is applied by big industries with a complex and expensive construction so it is impossible for other people to build this system outside of the industries which applied this. This problem is the purpose to make this final project. In this final project, there are some ways that will be used to make it done. First of all is studying the monitoring and control system, and all of the aspect that include in this system like a programming, design scheme, sensors and etc. The result of this final project is a control and monitoring system design that will be integrated with an information system like in industries. The different is this project made just for a small implementation, so it can be studied by others student and give them more knowledge about control and monitoring system by using microcontrollers.
