PEMBUATAN APLIKASI PENYAJIAN INFORMASI PERSEBARAN PENYAKIT MENULAR BERBASIS ANDROID

Penyakit menular menjadi masalah umum yang terjadi pada lingkungan hidup. Kemunculannya dapat terjadi secara tidak terduga dan menyebar begitu cepat, sedangkan kesadaran masyarakat akan hal ini tergolong rendah, serta adanya kemungkinan sumber informasi yang tidak jelas dapat berakibat fatal bagi perlindungan kesehatan manusia. Dalam upaya untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, diperlukan solusi yang dapat diterima oleh semua kalangan. Salah satunya dengan memanfaatkan teknologi yang saat ini berkembang pesat, terutama penggunaan kemajuan telepon genggam, yaitu smartphone. Dengan sistem operasi Android yangpengembangannya bersifat gratis dan terbuka (open source), pengembangsmartphonedapat membangun aplikasi untuk mengatasi masalah terkait penyakit menular tersebut. Aplikasi dikembangkan menggunakan perangkat lunak Eclipse IDE. Data terkait informasi yang digunakan disimpan dalam sebuah basisdata yang terdapat pada web server online. Dengan metode tersebut, informasi dapat diperbaharui secara dinamis dan efisien. Pembuatan aplikasi melibatkan bahasa pemrograman Java, XML, dan PHP. Aplikasi dapat berjalan pada smartphone dengan sistem operasi Android. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah sebuah aplikasi penyajian informasi persebaran penyakit menular berbasis Android dengan wilayah Kota Yogyakarta sebagai lingkup bahasan. Aplikasi ini dapat menjadi media alternatif pemantauan titik-titik lokasi persebaran penyakit menular bagi Dinas Kesehatan dan masyarakat.

Communicable disease becomes a general problems that happen in the living environment. Its occurrence could be happen unexpectedly and spread so fast, while public awareness of this case is relatively low, and the possibility of inaccurateinformation can be fatal to human health. In attempt to overcome this problem, we need an acceptable solutions to all community. One of them is utilizing the technology that is growing rapidly, especially the use of mobile phone advances, namely smartphone. Using Android operating system that is free and open source, smartphone developer can build an application tosolvevisualizecommunicabledisease issues. This application is developed with an Eclipse IDE software. Related data stored in a database which is attached in web server online. By this method, the information can be updated dynamically and efficiently. The development of this application involves Java, XML, and PHP program languages. This application is runon smartphone with Android operating system. The product of this project is anAndroid based application for visualization of communicabledisease spreading, using Yogyakarta as scope of discussion. This application can be an alternative to monitor the spreadingofcommunicable disease for Dinas Kesehatan and the society.
