Purwarupa Pengukuran Pemakaian Beban Listrik dan Mengirimkannya melalui SMS

Telah dibuat purwarupa pengukuran pemakaian beban listrik dan mengirimkannya melalui SMS. Sistem ini memiliki kemampuan untuk memudahkan masyarakat sebagai pengguna listrik dalam memantau penggunaan listrik. Kurangnya perhatian masyarakat seputar tentang penggunanan listrik dapat menyebabkan tagihan listrik yang harus dibayar ke PLN melebihi yang diperkirakan oleh pengguna. Sistem ini didisain untuk dapat digunakan di rumah, kost-kostan ataupun suatu tempat yang berhubungan dalam pemakaian beban listrik. Sistem ini bekerja dengan cara mendeteksi arus yang melewati sensor hingga 5 Ampere. Hasil deteksi arus tersebut kemudian diolah sedemikian rupa sehingga menghasilkan daya, arus, total kWh yang ditampilkan pada LCD. Sistem ini juga dilengkapi dengan fitur pengaturan setpoint atau batas daya dan SMS gateway. SMS gateway tersebut digunakan untuk mengirim SMS peringatan kepada pengguna bila daya yang terbaca oleh sensor melebihi setpoint atau batas daya yang ditentukan sebelumnya.

Have made use of prototype measurement of electrical load and send it via SMS. This system has the ability to facilitate community as a power user in monitoring the use of electricity. Lack of public concern about the about common uses of electricity can cause electric bills that must be paid to PLN exceeds that predicted by the user. This system is designed to be used at home, boarding house or a place related to the use of electrical load. This system works by detecting the current through the sensor up to 5 Ampere. Current detection results are then processed so as to produce power, current, total kWh which is displayed on the LCD. The system is also equipped with setpoint adjustment or power limits and SMS gateway. SMS gateway is used to send SMS alerts to the user when power is read by the sensor exceeds the setpoint or a predetermined power limit.
