SISTEM INFORMASI PERPUSTAKAAN LAPORAN PENELITIAN BALAI BESAR PENELITIAN BIOTEKNOLOGI DAN PEMULIAAN TANAMAN HUTAN

Selama ini perpustakaan laporan BBPBPTH menangani proses manajemen data dan sirkulasi, serta proses pelaporan masih secara manual atau belum menggunakan sistem informasi. Kesulitan yang dihadapi ketika mencatat manual yaitu harus memantau status keanggotaan serta mengelola data pegawai yang menjadi anggota, memantau ketersediaan laporan yang akan dipinjam, pencatatan transaksi peminjaman, pencatatan laporan hilang, dan merekap transaksi yang jumlahnya sangat banyak untuk proses pelaporan dengan periode tertentu. Hal ini tentu akan mempengaruhi pengolahan data dan pembuatan laporan. Hal lain yang menjadi permasalahan di perpustakaan laporan BBPBPTH adalah para pegawai yang ingin mengetahui informasi mengenai koleksi laporan harus datang ke perpustakaan atau bertanya pada petugas dan mencari mengenai informasi tersebut secara manual di buku transaksi perpustakaan dan sangat tidak efektif. Berdasarkan keadaan di atas, maka dibangunlah sebuah Sistem Informasi Perpustakaan Laporan Penelitian BBPBPTH untuk mendukung kinerja pegawai dan instansi yang mampu menangani manajemen data, proses sirkulasi dan pelaporan yang terintegrasi, serta fungsi pencarian laporan secara online untuk pegawai. Sistem informasi ini dibangun menggunakan PHP dengan framework laravel, basis data MySQL serta jQuery untuk javascript-nya. Sistem Informasi Perpustakaan Laporan Penelitian BBPBPTH telah berhasil dibangun dan dapat membantu kegiatan pelayanan di Perpustakaan Laporan BBPBPTH.

All this time BBPBPTH library of reports handle the process of data management and circulations, also the reporting process is still manual or not yet using an information system. The difficulty that faced while doing this method is had to look for the membership status of the staff who's also a member, checking the availability of the reports that will be borrowed, recording borrowing transactions, recording reports disappearance, and transaction recapitulations that are so many for the summary reports with a certain period. This will affect the data summary reports. Another thing that are a problem is that the staff that want to know the information about reports collection have to come to the library or ask the staff. And manually look for the information about that in the library transactions book and it's so ineffective. Based on the above circumstances, then a Library Information Systems Research Report of BBPBPTH is built to support the work of the employee and the instance that can handle the data management, circulation processes and integrated reporting, also an online reports search function for the employee. This system is built using PHP with a laravel framework. MySQL database also JQuery for the javascript. Library Information Systems Research Report of BBPBPTH have been successfully built and can help the tasks in BBPBPTH library of reports.
