Unsur tersebut penting, karena membentuk suatu karya yang utuh dan baik. Unsur dalam novel terdiri atas tema, fakta cerita (alur, penokohan, latar), dan sarana cerita (surut pandang, gaya bahasa, simbol, dan ironi). Unsur-unsur tersebut berfungsi untuk menyampaikan makna yang ada dalam novel, yang ingin disampaikan oleh pengarang. Nalika Langite Obah merupakan judul Novel yang dijadikan obyek dalam skripsi ini. Novel Nalika Langite Obah karya Esmiet diterbitkan oleh Jayabaya pada tahun 1997. Teori yang digunakan untuk menganalisis unsur-unsur yang ada pada Novel Nalika Langite Obah, yaitu teori struktural. Analisis tersebut bertujuan untuk menjelaskan makna yang disampaikan oleh pengarang untuk pembaca. Teori yang ada melalui dari beberapa buku digunakan untuk mengetahui struktur yang ada dalam novel Nalika Langite Obah. Skripsi ini menunjukkan struktur novel Nalika Langite Obah beserta hubungan antar unsurnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya hubungan antar unsur-unsurnya. Hubungan antar unsur tersebut bertujuan untuk menyampaikan makna yang ada dalam novel Nalika Langite Obah yang ingin disampaikan oleh pengarang. Hasilnya dapat diketahui dari saling berkaitannya unsur-unsur seperti, tema, fakta cerita, sarana cerita, yang ada dalam novel tersebut. Kata kunci : novel, analisis struktural, hubungan antar unsur
ABSTRACT A novel is a literary work in the form of a story that has important elements. These elements are important, because of these elements form a literary work that intact and good. The elements in a novel consists of the theme, the fact of stories (plot, characterization, back ground), and the mean of the story (receding of view, style of language, symbol, and irony). These elements have a function to extend the meaning of the novel, which is to be conveyed by the author. Nalika Langite Obah is the title of a novel that used as an object in this thesis. Novel Nalika Langite Obah written by Esmiet and published by Jayabaya in 1997. The theory is used to analyze the elements that exist in the novel Nalika Langite Obah, namely structural theory. The analysis aims to explain the meaning conveyed by the author to the reader. Existing theory through of some of the books used to determine the existing structure in the novel Nalika Langite Obah. This thesis shows structure of the novel Nalika Langite Obah and the relationship between these elements. The research results show that the existence of relationship between these elements. The relationship between elements aims to convey the meaning of novel Nalika Langite Obah which want to be delivered by author. The results could be seen from the connection to each other other such elements, themes, fact of the story, the mean of the story, which is exist in the novel.
