Analisis Isi Berita Terorisme Dalam Arrahmah dan Voa-Islam Periode 1 Januari 2012 � 30 Juni 2013

Objektivitas adalah hal krusial bagi jurnalisme, terutama jurnalisme konflik, termasuk terorisme. Objektivitas berita terorisme penting untuk menghindari hate speech, penting bagi masyarakat untuk member justifikasi moral yang berdampak pada berhasil atau tidaknya strategi geopolitik Anglo-Amerika melalui Global War on Terrorism (bentuk permanen:Operation Contingency Overseas). Peneliti mengambil Arrahmah dan Voa-Islam sebagai objek penelitian sebab deklarasi posisi keduanya sebagai media alternatif. Untuk mengetahui objektivitas berita terorisme dalam situs Arrahmah dan Voa-Islam pada periode 1 Januari 2012 - 30 Juni 2013, peneliti mengajukan rumusan masalah: "sejauh mana kesesuaian objektivitas pemberitaan isu terorisme oleh Arrahmah danVoa-Islam periode 1 Januari 2012 - 30 Juni 2013 dengan standar objektivitas jurnalisme Westerstahl?" Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menjelaskan pemberitaan isu terorisme oleh pers online Arrahmah dan Voa-Islam serta menyelidiki kesesuaian pemberitaan isu terorisme oleh pers online Arrahmah danVoa-Islamdengan standar objektivitas jurnalisme. Sementara yang diharapkan dari penelitian adalah (1) Secara akademis memperkaya kajian jurnalisme dalam ranah Ilmu Komunikasi; (2) Memberi saran bagi kegiatan jurnalisme pers online; dan (3) Memberi gambaran praktek jurnalisme terkait objektivitas berita terorisme Arrahmah danVoa-Islam. Untuk menjawab permasalahan peneliti menggunakan metode analisis ini dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Instrumen penelitian untuk mengukur tingkat objektivitas adalah 59 indikator yang diturunkan dari ide objektivitas Westerstahl tahun 1983. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari 222 item berita, 36,9% berita memperoleh skor objektivitas tinggi, 53,1% termasuk dalam kategori sedang, dan 9,9% memperoleh skor rendah.

Objectivity is crucial for journalism, conflict journalism in particular. Objectivity of news terrorism is both of importance in order to avoid hates speech and of importance for public to share moral justification. This justification is on the effect of the success of Anglo-American geopolitics strategy through Global War on Terrorism (permanent case: Operation Contingency Overseas). The researcher took Arrahmah and Voa-Islam for her research with the reason that both news resources declare as alternative media. In order to figure out terrorism news objectivity in Arrahmah and Voa-Islam sites in 1 January, 2012 - 30 June, 2013, the researcher proposed problem formulation "how proper is the terrorism news objectivity so far issued by Arrahmah and Voa-Islam in 1 January, 2012 - 30 June, 2013 related to Westerstahl journalism standard?" The purpose of the research is to explain terrorism issue news issued by Arrahmah and Voa-Islam online-presses and to do research the conformity of the news of terrorism of both presses with journalism objectivity standard. What to expect from the research is that (1) academically enrich journalism theme in the field of Science of Communication; (2) add suggestion for the activity of online-press; and present description journalism practices related to objectivity on terrorism made by both sites. In order to answer the problem formulation, the researcher uses quantity approach on the analysis method. Instrument research to survey the objectivity phase is that 59 indicators which are descended from the idea of objectivity of Westerstahl in 1983. The result of the research is shown that of 222 news items, 36,9% of news gains high objectivity score, 53,1% gets medium score and 9,9% has low score.
