Penyusunan Tugas Akhir yang berjudul "Sistem Kaizen di LotteMart Wholesale Solo" ini merupakan hasil penelitian magang yang dilakukan selama dua bulan dari bulan Mei sampai dengan bulan Juni 2014 di LotteMart Wholesale Solo. Tugas akhir ini menjelaskan tentang sistem kaizen di LotteMart Wholesale Solo, yaitu mengenai apa saja faktor-faktor penerapan sistem kaizen, apa tujuan dari penerapan sistem kaizen dan bagaimana cara penerapan sistem kaizen. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode wawancara, observasi, dan studi pustaka. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sistem kaizen di LotteMart Wholesale Solo memiliki tiga faktor penting dalam pembuatan ide kaizen. Faktor tersebut adalah klasifikasi kaizen, Jadwal kaizen, dan kriteria penilaian kaizen. Selain itu, sistem kaizen di LotteMart Wholesale Solo juga memiliki beberapa tujuan seperti mengurangi pemborosan, kualitas kontrol barang, memperbaiki area kerja, serta meningkatkan disiplin dan partisipasi karyawan. Cara penerapan kaizen meliputi dua cara yaitu langkah pembuatan kaizen dan penerapan ide kaizen. Ketiga hal tersebut, yaitu faktor, tujuan, dan cara penerapan merupakan langkah yang harus dilakukan agar sistem kaizen bisa berjalan secara sistematis dan hasil perbaikannya menjadi lebih optimal.

The composing of graduating paper entitled "Kaizen System in LotteMart Wholesale Solo" is the result of research conducted during two months internship from May 2014 to June 2014 in LotteMart Wholesale Solo. This graduating paper describes about kaizen system in LotteMart Wholesale Solo especially about it's factors of kaizen system implementation, purpose of implementation kaizen system implementation, and the way of kaizen system implementation. This research was conducted by using interview method, observations, and literature study. The results from this research indicated that the kaizen system in LotteMart Wholesale Solo has three important factor on kaizen system implementation. Those factors are classifications of kaizen, schedule of kaizen, and assessment of kaizen's criteria. In addition, LotteMart Wholesale Solo also has some purposes such as reducing waste, reaching the quality of control goods, repairing work area, as well as increasing discipline and participation of employees. The implementations of kaizen covering two ways. Those ways are the proccess of making of kaizen and the implementation of kaizen idea itself. Those three, which factor, purpose, and implementation are must be done in order that the kaizen system can work systematically and the result improvement becomes more optimal.
