PENGARUH PELAKSANAAN PROSES ASUHAN GIZI TERSTANDAR (PAGT) TERHADAP ASUPAN GIZI, STATUS GIZI DAN LAMA RAWAT INAP PADA PASIEN PENYAKIT DEGENERATIF DI RUANG RAWAT INAP RSUD WALED KABUPATEN CIREBON

Kejadian kurang gizi pada pasien yang dirawat di rumah sakit dapat diatasi dengan pemberian dukungan gizi yang tepat melalui pelayanan asuhan gizi yang berkualitas. Proses Asuhan Gizi Terstandar Proses tersebut mendukung dan mengarah pada asuhan gizi secara individu. Tujuan : untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelaksanaan Proses Asuhan Gizi Terstandar (PAGT) terhadap asupan gizi, status gizi dan lama rawat inap pada pasien penyakit degeneratif di ruang rawat inap RSUD Waled Kabupaten Cirebon. Metode : Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen dengan rancangan Non- Equivalent Control Group. Sampel adalah pasien yang menderita penyakit degeneratif yang berisiko malnutrisi kelas I, II dan III. Data yang dikumpulkan Simple Nutrition Screening Tool (SNST) dan perubahan berat badan, asupan gizi dan lama rawat inap. Jumlah sampel masing-masing tiap kelompok adalah 47 orang. Uji statistik yang digunakan untuk analisis perbedaan adalah independent ttest. Hasil :Rata-rata asupan gizi selama perlakuandan SNST akhir pada kelompok PAGT lebih baik daripada kelompok konvensional dan ada perbedaan. Tidak ada perbedaan pada perubahan berat badan dan rata-rata lama rawat inap antara kelompok PAGT dan kelompok konvensional. Kesimpulan : Rata-rata asupan gizi selama perlakuan dan SNST akhir lebih baik pada kelompok PAGT daripada kelompok konvensional dan ada perbedaan. Tidak ada perbedaan pada perubahan berat badan dan rata-rata lama rawat inap antara kelompok PAGT dengan kelompok konvensional.
Background: One of many problems that were faced by the hospital in the effort to cure patients was malnutrition incidence. Malnutrition incidence in the patient that is treated in the hospital can be overcome by appropriate nutrition support through quality nutrition service. Standardized Nutrition Care Process (SNCP) is that process support and toward to nutrition service individually. Objectives: The general objectives of the study was to knowing the influence of the implementation of Standardized Nutrition Care Processto the nutrition intake, nutrition status and length of stay of degenerative patientin patient room atRSUD Waled (Waled Regional General Hospital), Cirebon Regency. Methods: This was quasi experimental study by Non-Equivalent Control Group design. Sample was the patients who suffered degenerative illness who were treated in inpatient room of class I, II and III with malnutrition risk. Data that was collected was nutrition screening by Simple Nutrition Screening Tool (SNST) and discharge body weight, nutrition intake andlength of stay. The number of sample for each group was 47patients. Statistic test that was used to analyze the difference was independent t-testif the data with normal. Results:The average of nutrition intakeduring treatment and Simple Nutrition Screening Tool (SNST) was better in the patient who got nutrition care by SNCP compared to the patient who got conventional nutrition care and there was significant difference. There was no significant difference in the body weight changing and the average of length of stay between the patients who got nutrition care by SNCP compared to the patient who got conventional nutrition care. Conclusion: The average of nutrition intakeduring treatment and Simple Nutrition Screening Tool (SNST) was better in the patient who got nutrition care by SNCP compared to the patient who got conventional nutrition care and there was significant difference. There was no significant difference in the body weight changing and the average of length of stay between the patients who got nutrition care by SNCP compared to the patient who got conventional nutrition care.
