Sistem tenaga listrik sangat memegang peranan penting dalam semua aspek. Sehingga untuk memperoleh kontinuitas pelayanan pelayanan diperlukan penerapan dan penggunaan peralatan proteksi untuk mengatasi gangguan. Peralatan proteksi pada sistem distribusi tenaga listrik dipasang pada daerah tertentu. Daerah-daerah pengaman tersebut dibuat sedemikian rupa sehingga antara daerah pengaman satu dengan daerah pengaman yang lain saling berkoordinasi secara selektif. Sehingga tidak ada daerah yang tidak terlindungi oleh peralatan proteksi. Tujuan dari study kasus ini adalah untuk mengetahui keandalan sistem proteksi dan koordinasi proteksi penyulang SGN 12 terhadap arus hubung singkat. Manfaat dari study kasus ini untuk mengetahui apakah koordinasi dan setting peralatan proteksi pada penyulang SGN 12 sudah benar. Dari hasil study kasus yang dilakukan disimpulkan bahwa koordinasi proteksi penyulang SGN 12 perlu pengaturanulang koordinasi GFR untuk menghindari kemungkinan terjadinya trip bersama antara kedua recloser. Nilai setting dan koordinasi relai terpasang harus dihitung secara bertahap, dimulai dari data panjang jaringan, nilai arus gangguan, penghitungan setting dan pengecekkan koordinasi relai. System electric power very important playing a part in all aspect. So that to obtain get service continuitas needed by applying and usage of equipments of proteksi to overcome trouble. Protective equipment on power distribution system mounted on a particular area. Safety areas created such that the seat belt regions selectively coordinate with each other. So there is no area that is not protected by the protection equipment. The purpose of this case study is to determine the reliability of protection system and coordination SGN 12 feeder protection against short-circuit current. Benefits of this case study to determine whether the protective device coordination and arrangement on SGN 12 feeder is correct. From the result of case studies concluded that the feeder protection coordination need to reset SGN 12 GFR coordination to avoid the possibility of traveling together between two recloser. Value relay settings and coordination installed should be calculated in stages, starting from a long data network, the fault current value, calculated and check the relay setting coordination.
