PERKEMBANGAN KONSEPSI MASYARAKAT TERHADAP HUTAN WONOSADI DESA BEJI KECAMATAN NGAWEN KABUPATEN GUNUNGKIDUL (1960 – 2014)

Hubungan masyarakat sekitar dan Hutan Wonosadi berjalan dinamis. Terdapat masa di mana masyarakat menebang hutan hingga gundul dan terjadi bencana longsor. Namun setelah kejadian bencana longor masyarakat mampu menghijaukan kembali. Bahkan kelestarian hutan tetap terjaga hingga saat ini Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan perkembangan konsepsi masyarakat terhadap Hutan Wonosadi Desa Beji Kecamatan Ngawen Kabupaten Gunungkidul periode tahun 1960 sampai dengan 2014. Studi ini menggunankan pendekatan induktif kualitatif dengan metode penelitian fenomenologi. Penelitian ini berlokasi di Desa Beji Kecamatan Ngawen Gunungkidul. Data dan informasi dikumpulkan dengan wawancara mendalam dan observasi. Analisis data yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil dan kesimpulan dari penelitian ini Konsepsi Masyarakat Desa Beji terhadap Hutan Wonosadi pada tahun 1960 sampai dengan tahun 2014 mengalami perkembangan. Terdapat tiga periode dalam perkembangan konsepsi masyarakat Desa Beji terhadap Hutan Wonosadi. Pertama Periode 1960 – 1965, kedua periode tahun 1966 – 2006 dan ketiga periode tahun 2006 – 2014. Pada periode pertama masyarakat memandang hutan sebagai sumber ekonomi yang dapat memenuhi kebutuhan ekonomi secara cepat. Pada periode ini faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap konsepsi masyarakat adalah kondisi politik dan terjadinya bencana kelaparan. Pada periode kedua masyarakat memandang hutan sebagai sumberdaya yang harus dijaga dan dirawat agar tetap lestari. Pada periode kedua, konsepsi masyarakat dipengaruhi oleh perubahan kondisi politik, pergantian aparatur desa dan migrasi ke kota. Pada periode ketiga hutan dipandang sebagai sumber ekonomi dengan menjaga kelestarian ekosistem hutan. Pada periode ketiga faktor yang berpengaruh adalah kebutuhan akan penghargaan, tumbuhnya industri kecil dan pengaruh kebijakan dari Pemerintah Daerah Kabupaten Gunungkidul. The relationship of surrounding community and Wonosadi forests is going dynamic. There is period where the community cut down the forests to barren and the landslides occurs. However, after the landslides disaster, the communities able to reforest, even the forests preservation is still maintained up today. The research aims is to describe development of the conception community towards Wonosadi Forest, Beji Village subdistrict of Ngawen, Gunungkidul Regency from 1960 to 2014 periods. This research used qualitative inductive approach with phenomenology research method. This research is located in Beji Village, Subdistrict of Ngawen Gunungkidul. Data and information was collected by in-depth interviews and observation. Data analysis conducted in this research was qualitative descriptive. The research results and conclusions showed that the community conception of Beji Village toward Wonosadi Forest in 1960 through 2014 had been changed. There were three periods in development of this community conception, first, period of 1960-1965, second,period of 1966 - 2006 and third, period 2006 - 2014. In the first period the community views the forest as economic resource that could fulfill a rapid economic requirement. During this period, factors influenced the community conception were political conditions and the occurrence of famine disaster. In the second period, the community viewed the forest as resource that should be preserved and maintained as to be everlasting. In this period, the public conception was influenced by the changes of political conditions, alteration of village apparatus and migration to the cities. In the third period, the forest has been viewed as economic resource by keeping the forest ecosystem preservation. In the third period the influential factor has been requirement for appreciation, the growth of small industries and the influence the Government policy of Gunungkidul Regency.
