ANALISIS PENGUKURAN LEARNING ORGANIZATION DAN LANGKAH STRATEGIS PENINGKATANNYA PROGRAM STUDI STRATA SATU FAKULTAS EKONOMI DAN BISNIS UNIVERSITAS BENGKULU

2014 | Tesis | S2 MANAJEMEN PENDIDIKAN TINGGIPenelitian ini bertujuan mengukur learning organization pada tiga program studi: [1] Prodi Ekonomi Pembangunan; [2] Prodi Manajemen; dan [3] Prodi Akuntansi, yang merupakan bagian dari perguruan tinggi yakni Universitas Bengkulu; [4] menguji perbedaan pengukuran learning organization diantara ketiganya, dan [3] bertujuan merumuskan langkah strategis untuk meningkatkan kapasitas learning organization pada ketiga program studi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tiga cara yaitu melalui kuesioner, in-depth interview, dan melakukan observasi langsung. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan instrumen yang dipublikasikan oleh Garvin et al., 2008, serta melakukan in-depth interview pada pemegang peranan strategis dalam program studi. Pengujian perbandingan pengukuran learning organization menggunakan pengujian statistik independent sample t-test dan One Way Anova. Sementara untuk perumusan langkah strategis peningkatan learning organization, direalisasikan dengan metode Fishbone diagram. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan masing-masing program studi menghasilkan implementasi learning organization yang baik. Prodi Ekonomi Pembangunan memperoleh learning environment composite (75.7= third quartile), learning process and practices composite (74= median), serta leadership that reinforces learning composite (71= bottom quartile). Hal ini menunjukkan PSEP perlu meningkatkan kepemimpinan yang mendukung pembelajaran dan kebersamaan dalam mewujudkan visi bersama seluruh anggota organisasi. Untuk Prodi Manajemen learning environment composite (77.25= third quartile), learning process and practices composite (79.8 = third quartile). Sementara untuk leadership that reinforces learning composite (77= third quartile). Secara garis besar menunjukkan PSM telah cukup baik berperan dan berperilaku sebagai insan-insan yang mengembangkan diri menjadi organisasi pembelajar, meskipun tetap terdapat item yang harus ditingkatkan. Sementara Prodi Akuntansi skor learning environment composite (69.8= second quartile), learning process and practices composite (74= median) dan pilar yang ketiga leadership that reinforces learning composite (73= second quartile), menunjukkan secara garis besar PSA harus dapat menciptakan lingkungan untuk mendukung pembelajaran serta dengan kepemimpinan yang mendukung terciptanya pembelajaran dalam setiap perilaku dan kinerja dosen dan untuk mencapai tujuan bersama. Hasil pengujian statistik untuk menguji perbedaan learning organization ketiga program studi menemukan hasil bahwa terdapat perbedaan implementasi learning organization pada Prodi Ekonomi Pembangunan dan Prodi Manajemen dengan rata-rata perbedaan 14.856 (PSM= 285,538 dan PSEP= 270,6818). Perbedaan juga terdapat pada implementasi learning organization Prodi Manajemen dan Prodi Akuntansi dengan rata-rata perbedaan 22.496 (PSM= 285,538 dan PSA= 263,041). Serta tidak terdapat perbedaan antara pengukuran learning organization pada Prodi Ekonomi Pembangunan dan Prodi Akuntansi dengan rata-rata perbedaan 7,640 (PSEP= 270,681 dan PSA= 263,041). Perumusan langkah strategis rekomendasi diharapkan, masing-masing Prodi dapat meningkatkan komponen atau subkomponen yang menjadi kelemahan, serta melakukan peningkatan pada subkomponen lainnya yang terletak pada median dan third quartile, sehingga dapat mencapai kuartil atas (top quartile). This research was aimed to measure learning organization for three studies program : [1] Economy of Development, [2] Economy of Management, [3] and Economy of Accountancy which were parts of higher education of Universitas Bengkulu; [4] to test measurement differences of learning organization among them, and [5] to formulate strategy steps in order to develop capasity of learning organization of three studies program. This research was done by three ways: through questionnaire, indepth interview, and direct observation. Research instrument used the instrument which was published by Garvin, et al, 2008, also was done in-depth interview toward the held of strategies function in developing learning organization that occupied with fishbone diagram, as a part of identification problem to perform better strategies and easy to be implemented. Result of this research indicated that each of study program was got good implementation in learning organization. The Economy of Development Study Program got learning environment composite (75.7= third quartile), learning process composite (74 = median), also leadership that reinforces learning composite (71 = bottom quartile). This result was indicated that PSEP bassically need to be developed leadership which supported learning and equallity to achieve vision with all organitation members. For the Management Study Program, got scores of learning environment composite (77.25 = third quartile), learning process composite (79.8 = third quartile). Meanwhile the leadership that reinforces learning composite (77 = third quartile). Basically it was indicated that PSM was good enough to be acted and performed, as a human being who develop himself/herself become learning organization, although there was something must be increased. Mainwhile The Accountancy Study Program, got scores of learning environment composite (69.8 = second quartile), learning process composite (74 = median) and leadership that reinforces learning composite (73 = second quartile), it was indicated that PSA must have ability to perform learning environment and leadership performance to support learning composite for each person and lectures’ work to gain the same goal. The result of Statistics was indicated that learning organization for three studies program were difference in implimenting learning organization.The differences betweeen Economy of Development Study Program and Managament Study Program was 14.856 ( PSM = 285, 538 and PSEP = 270,6818 ). The differences also found in implementing learning organization of Managament Study Program and Accountancy Study Program which averaged differences were 22.496 (PSM = 270, 681 and PSA = 263, 041 ). Hopefully, All Studies program can be developed component and sub-component which were still have low scores, also another sub-components in position median and third quartile in order to gain top quartile.
