2014 | Skripsi | S1 ILMU DAN INDUSTRI PETERNAKANPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh berbagai macam aras kuning telur itik Alabio terhadap persentase motilitas, viabilitas, dan abnormalitas spermatozoa kambing Bligon yang diencerkan dengan tris fruktosa setelah pengenceran, ekuilibrasi, prefreezing, dan post-thawing. Sperma ditampung dengan metode vagina buatan satu minggu dua kali. Sperma diencerkan dengan pengencer tris fruktosa, dengan aras kuning telur itik 10%, 20%, dan 30%. Data kualitas sperma segar dianalisis dengan mean dan standar deviasi, sedangkan motilitas, viabilitas, dan abnormalitas dianalisis variansi pola searah. Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa aras kuning telur itik berpengaruh nyata (P>0,05) pada viabilitas setelah pengenceran, motilitas dan abnormalitas setelah ekuilibrasi, abnormalitas setelah prefreezing, serta viabilitas setelah post-thawing. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah aras kuning telur itik 10% memberikan hasil yang paling bagus terhadap motilitas dan prosentase paling sedikit terhadap abnormalitas spermatozoa kambing Bligon.
The aim of this research was to determine the effect of various level of Alabio duck's egg yolk on percentage of motility, viability, and abnormality of Bligon goat's spermatozoa which was diluted with tris-fructose. Semen quality was examined after diluting, after equilibration, prefreezing, and post-thawing. Sperm was collected two times a week by using artificial vagina method. The sperm was diluted with tris fructose, added with treatments were 10%, 20%, 30% level of Alabio duck's egg yolk. The quality data of fresh sperm was analyzed by using mean and standard of deviation, while the spermatozoa motility, viability, and abnormality after diluting, equilibration, prefreezing, and post-thawing were analyzed with analysis of variance using one-way design. The results of study showed that levels of Alabio duck's egg yolk significantly (P>0,05) affected in viability after diluting, motility and abnormality after equilibration, abnormality after prefreezing, and viability after thawing. The research could be concluded that 10% level of Alabio duck's egg yolk gave the best results of spermatozoa motility and least percentage abnormality in Bligon goat.
