EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT KARYAWAN MANAGEMENT TRAINEE

Employee engagement merupakan topik yang banyak dibahas saat ini. Konsep ini penting dimiliki oleh karyawan karena merupakan kunci pendorong bisnis untuk kesuksesan organisasi dan memberi dampak yang positif pada kesejahteraan psikologis karyawan. Pembahasan mengenai employee engagement pada penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan needsatisfying dengan dimensi kognitif, emosi, dan fisik. Responden penelitian ini yaitu karyawan management trainee di salah satu perusahaan properti. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana dinamika psikologis employee engagement karyawan management trainee dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi employee engagement karyawan management trainee. Peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif fenomenologi dengan metode pengumpulan data wawancara serta analisis data menggunakan open, axial dan selective koding. Penelitian ini menemukan makna employee engagement yaitu integritas karyawan untuk menunjukkan kinerja yang terbaik, yang terwujud dalam keterlibatan secara emosi, fisik, dan kognisi. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi employee engagement karyawan management trainee yaitu kepercayaan, tantangan, rasa bermanfaat, kompensasi, relasi, iklim kerja, beban kerja, perbedaan kebijakan, dan resistensi lingkungan.

Employee engagement was a popular topic discussed today. This concept was important because it drove the success of organization and gave a positive impact on the psychological well-being of employees. Discussion in this research used cognition, emotion, and physical as the dimension. The respondents of this reasearch were employees of a management trainee in one of the property company. The purpose of this research was figured out how employee engagement on management trainee and determined the factors that affect employee engagement on management trainee. This research used qualitative research with phenomenology as a method. Researcher required interview as data collection method and open, axial, and selective coding to analyzed data. The research found meaning of employee engagement is the integrity of employee to show the best performance, which is manifested in the involvement of emotional, physical, and cognition. Factors that influenced employee engagement of management trainee were trust, challenge, sense of meaningfulness, compensation, relationships, work climate, workload, policy differences, and environmental resistance.
