Pengembangan Aplikasi Berbasis Lokasi Shelter-Finder dan Route-Simulator Trans Jogja pada Sistem Operasi Android

Trans Jogja sebagai sarana transportasi yang diunggulkan Pemerintah Yogyakarta sebagai salah satu jalan penanggulangan kemacetan, tidak diimbangi dengan informasi yang cukup terhadap lokasi halte dan rute perjalanan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk membantu pengguna layanan transportasi ini dalam menemukan lokasi halte terdekat berdasarkan lokasi pengguna, hingga memberikan rute perjalanan terdekat dalam membantu pengguna sampai ke lokasi yang diinginkan. Dengan permasalahan kurangnya informasi terkait lokasi halte serta rute perjalanan Trans Jogja, maka diangkatlah penelitian ini untuk membuat aplikasi mobile berbasis sistem operasi Android yang memungkinkan pengguna mencari dan menampilkan lokasi halte yang dikehendaki. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian, aplikasi dapat melakukan pencarian halte berdasar lokasi GPS dari pengguna hingga memberikan rute terdekat yang dibutuhkan oleh pengguna untuk mencapai tujuan yang dikehendaki. Pengguna juga dapat melacak lokasi bis yang akan digunakan. Terdapat juga sistem berbasis web yang dapat melakukan pengolahan basis data yang digunakan oleh aplikasi mobile.

Trans Jogja as Yogyakarta Government's recommended public mass transportation to the solution of the city's heavy traffic, is not being balanced with enough bus stops and bus routes information needed by the consumer. This research aims to help the consumer to find the bus stops nearby the user's location, up to giving the user the shortest route trip to get the user to the desired location. Along the problems of the lacking of information of bus stop locations and Trans Jogja trip routes, came up the idea of the research to build Android-based mobile application that helps the user to search and view the desired bus stop location and bus routes. Based on the test result done, the application has the ability to search nearest bus stops near the user's GPS location up to giving the user-needed shortest bus route to take to get the user to the desired location. User of the application can also track the bus location. As a side system, built a web-based system that could do the database processing part as the web-server part of the mobile application.
