ANALISIS EFISIENSI USAHATANI PADI DI KABUPATEN GUNUNGKIDUL

INTISARI Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk (1) mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi produksi usahatani padi sawah irigasi di Kabupaten Gunungkidul, (2) mengetahui efisiensi alokatif faktor-faktor produksi luas lahan, benih, unsur N, unsur P, unsur K, pupuk kandang, pestisida dan tenaga kerja. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kecamatan Ponjong dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 30 orang petani padi sawah irigasi. Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah fungsi produksi Cobb-Douglass dan analisis efisiensi alokatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa luas lahan, benih, pupuk kandang dan usia petani berpengaruh positif terhadap produksi padi. Hasil analisis efisiensi alokatif menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan luas lahan dan benih belum efisien sehingga untuk dapat menjadi efisien perlu penambahan luas lahan dan jumlah benih padi. Selain itu, hasil analisis efisiensi alokatif juga menunjukan bahwa penggunaan pupuk kandang dalam usahatani padi tidak efisien, sehngga untuk dapat menccapai efisien pengguanaannya perlu dikurangi.

ABSTRACT This study was aimed to (1) determine factors that affect the production ofirrigatedfield ricefarminginGunungkidulRegency, (2) determinethe allocativeefficiency ofland, seed, N element,P element, the element K, organic fertilizer, pesticidesand labor. The research was conductedin the Ponjongwith numberof respondents was30 rice farmerswhohaveirrigated fields. The analysis toolsused in this reaserchis theCobb-Douglass ProductionFunctionsandallocativeefficiency analysis. The result showedthat thearea of land, seeds, organic fertilizerand ageof farmershas positive effecton rice production. The results ofthe analysis allocative efficiency oflandand seeds have notefficient, so field area and seeds should be added to make it become efficient. Beside that, the results ofthe analysis allocative efficiency of organic fertilizerin the production of rice farming did not efficient, so it should be reduced to make it become efficient, we need to reduce it.
