PENGARUH LAMA PERENDAMAN DALAM LARUTAN TEH HITAM TERHADAP PERUBAHAN WARNA SEMEN IONOMER KACA MODIFIKASI RESIN

2014 | Skripsi | ILMU KEPERAWATAN GIGIINTISARI Bahan tumpatan ionomer kaca modifikasi resin merupakan salah satu bahan tumpatan gigi yang dapat mengalami perubahan warna. Salah satu minuman kegemaran masyarakat Indonesia adalah teh hitam. Teh hitam memiliki kandungan zat warna alami yang dapat mengakibatkan pewarnaan pada bahan tumpatan ionomer kaca modifikasi resin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh lama perendaman dalam larutan teh hitam terhadap perubahan warna IKMR. Subyek penelitian adalah bahan tumpatan ionomer kaca modifikasi resin (FUJI II LC, Japan) berbentuk silinder dengan diameter 12 mm dan tebal 2 mm. Penelitian dilakukan dengan merendam IKMR pada seduhan teh hitam secara serial. Penelitian dibagi menjadi 4 kelompok perlakuan perendaman dengan perbedaan lama perendaman pada masing-masing kelompok. Larutan teh hitam sebanyak 300ml dengan konsentrasi sebanyak 0,7% pada suhu 37oC dalam inkubator. Parameter warna subjek penelitian (menurut sistem L*a*b*) diukur dengan menggunakan Chromameter CR400 (Minolta, Japan) sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan perendaman selama 6, 12, 24, dan 48 jam. Data hasil pengukuran setelah perlakuan dihitung perbedaannya dengan nilai awal dan dianalisis dengan ANAVA satu jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari lama waktu perendaman terhadap perbedaan perubahan warna (p<0,05). Uji LSD0,05 menunjukkan bahwa rerata perubahan warna antar semua kelompok perendaman memiliki perbedaan yang signifikan. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah lama perendaman dalam larutan teh hitam berpengaruh terhadap perubahan warna pada IKMR.
ABSTRACT Resin Modified Glass Ionomer cement is one of dental cement material that can may occurs discoloration. Discoloration can be caused by beverage consumed. One of Indonesian society favorite drink is black tea. Black tea contains natural dyes which can lead to stain of Resin Modified Glass Ionomer Cement. Objective of this research was to determine the effect of immersion time in black tea solution against discoloration of the Resin Modified Glass Ionomer cement. The subject of this research were Resin Modified Glass Ionomer cement materials (FUJI II LC, Japan) in the form of cylindrical with a diameter 12 mm and thickness 2 mm. This research was conducted with immersion of Resin Modified Glass Ionomer cement on black tea solution serially. Research was divided into 4 treatment groups with different immersion time in each group. A solution of 300 ml of black tea with a concentration as much as 0.7% at 37 ° C in incubator. Color parameters of research subjects (according to the L*a*b* system) were measured using Chromameter CR 400 (Minolta, Japan) before and after immersion treatment for 6, 12, 24, and 48 hours. The differences of measurement data between after treatment and initial condition was calculated and analyzed with ANOVA one way. The results showed that there was a significant effect of the immersion time against the discoloration differences (p <0.05). LSD0,05 test showed that the average discoloration between all groups had significant differences. The highest chromaticity change was seen in the average discoloration differences between 6 hours to 48 hours. The conclusion of this research is immersion time in black tea solution has effect against discoloration of RMGIC.
