INTISARI PENYUSUTAN ARSIP DI DINAS PENDIDIKAN PEMUDA DAN OLAHRAGA PROVINSI DIY ALEXTIN SARUMAHA NIM : 11/321533/DSA/5660/DD PROGRAM STUDI KEARSIPAN SEKOLAH VOKASI UNIVERSITAS GADJAH MADA Laporan Tugas Akhir ini membahas tentang kegiatan penyusutan arsip yang dilakukan di Dinas Pendidikan Pemuda dan Olahraga Provinsi DIY. Penyusutan arsip membahas tentang tata cara pelaksanaan kegiatan pemindahan arsip, penyerahan arsip, dan pemusnahan arsip. Selain itu, dibahas juga tentang kegiatan penilaian arsip dan rekonstruksi arsip sebagai bagian dari kegiatan penyusutan arsip. Tujuan dari penulisan Tugas Akhir ini adalah memaparkan prosedur dan mekanisme pelaksanaan penyusutan arsip di Dinas Pendidikan, Pemuda, dan Olahraga DIY. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tiga cara yaitu observasi partisipasi selama dua bulan ditempat PKL, wawancara terbuka dengan beberapa pengawai yang bertanggungjawab terhadap pelaksanaan kegiatan kearsipan, dan studi pustaka untuk memperoleh data-data terkait penyusutan arsip melalui penelurusan literatur-literatur kepustakaan yang relevan. Data-data dari ketiga metode tersebut dipadukan dan dianalisa untuk saling melengkapi sehingga diperoleh data yang akurat dalam penyelesaian laporan tugas akhir ini. Kesimpulan dari Tugas Akhir ini yang didasarkan atas hasil pengamatan dan penilaian yaitu bahwa Dinas Pendidikan, Pemuda, dan Olah Raga memiliki tingkat pertumbuhan arsip yang cukup tinggi, namun tidak diikuti dengan kegiatan penyusutan arsip. Hal ini timbul karena pengelolaan arsip baru dilaksanakan sejak tahun 2013, sehingga dibutuhkan waktu untuk melaksanakan kegiatan penyusutan arsip yang utuh. Disamping itu, tidak tersedianya sumber daya manusia yang berkompoten di bidang kearsipan menjadi salah satu faktor penghambat pelaksanaan penyusutan arsip.

ABSTRACT DEPRECIATION RECORDS IN DINAS PENDIDIKAN PEMUDA DAN OLAHRAGA PROVINSI DIY ALEXTIN SARUMAHA NIM : 11/321533/DSA/5660/DD PROGRAMME IN ARCHIVAL VOCATIONAL COLLEGE GADJAH MADA UNIVERSITY This final report discussed the activities of depreciation record in Dinas Pendidikan Pemuda dan Olahraga Provinsi DIY. Depreciation record discuss the procedure of the implementation of transfer record, submission archive, and destruction of records. In addition, discussed also about assessement activities of record and reconstruction of record as part of the depreciation record. The purpose of this final project describes the procedure and mechanism of the implementation of depreciation record in Dinas Pendidikan Pemuda dan Olahraga Provinsi DIY. The method used in the data collection which done in three ways; participation observation for two months in the field, open interviews with some of the employees who are responsible for the implementation of record, and literature study to obtain data related with the depreciation record through a literature search of the relevant literature. The three methods are used for analyze in order obtain accurate data in the complet of this final report. The conclusion of this final report is based on the observation and assessment in Dinas Pendidikan Pemuda dan Olahraga showed that the volume of this record which increasingly, but it is not followed with the depreciation activities of record. This happened because the records management implemented since 2013, so it takes time to implementaion a complete record depreciation activities. In addition, the limeted of human resources are competent in the field of archives to be one of the factorcs inhibiting the implementation of depreciation archive.
