Hubungan Panjang-Berat dan Faktor Kondisi Ikan Red Devil (Amphilophus labiatus) di Waduk Sermo Kabupaten Kulon Progo

INTISARI HUBUNGAN PANJANG-BERAT DAN FAKTOR KONDISI IKAN RED DEVIL (Amphilophus labiatus) DI WADUK SERMO KABUPATEN KULON PROGO AGUS BERATA WIJAYA 07/250015/PN/10966 Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan panjang-berat dan faktor kondisi ikan red devil (Amphilophus labiatus) di Waduk Sermo. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan Oktober 2012 sampai Maret 2013. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan jaring ingsang berukuran 1 inch; 1,5 inch; 2 inch; 2,5 inch; dan 3 inch. Sampel diukur panjang total, berat dan jenis kelamin. Data dianalisis deskripsi sebagai tabel dan grafik. Distribusi ukuran panjang berkisar antara 6,3-17,7 cm dan distribusi ukuran berat berkisar antara 4,48-96,97 g. Hubungan panjang-berat red devil membentuk persamaan W = 0,020 L 2,914 untuk jantan dan untuk betina W = 0,017 L 2,965 dengan pola pertumbuhan alometrik negatif. Hubungan panjang-berat antara jantan dan betina tidak berbeda nyata. Faktor kondisi relatif red devil jantan berkisar antara 0,99-1,09 dan betina berkisar antara 1,03-1,08. Nilai faktor kondisi relatif menunjukkan red devil dalam kondisi baik.

ABSTRACT LENGTH-WEIGHT RELATIONSHIP AND CONDITION FACTOR OF RED DEVIL (Amphiliphus labiatus) IN SERMO RESERVOIR KULON PROGO REGENCY AGUS BERATA WIJAYA 07/250015/PN/10966 The purpose of this research was to find out the length-weight relationship and condition faktor of red devil (Amphilophus labiatus) in Sermo Reservoir. Samples was collected October 2012 to March 2013. Sample was collected using gill net with the mesh size of 1;1,5;2;2,5; and 3 inches. All entangaled fish were collected and measured their length and weight individualy and sexed. The data were analyzed descriptively as tables and graph. The length was distributed from 6,3-17,7 cm and the weight ranged from 4,48-96,97 g. Length-weight relationship of red devil is formed an equation W = 0,020 L 2,914 for male and W = 0,017 L 2,965 for female, with negative allometric growth type. Length-weight relationship between male and female was not significantly different. The condition factor of male red devil ranged from 0,99-1,09 and for female ranged from 1,03-1,08. The value of the condition factor relatively showed that red devil was in a good condition.
