Dampak Mekanisasi Pertanian terhadap Pendapatan Petani Padi di Kabupaten Klaten (Studi pada UPJA Agawe Santoso Kecamatan Kalikotes)

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghitung pendapatan dan perbedaan pendapatan yang didapat dalam kegiatan usahatani padi dan pendapatan dari kegiatan di luar pertanian dengan mekanisasi parsial dan mekanisasi penuh. Penelitian ini juga untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi produksi padi di Kabupaten Klaten. Penelitian ini menggunakan 80 responden petani padi. Analisis yang digunakan untuk mengetahui perbedaan pendapatan petani padi digunakan uji Wilcoxon, uji Mann-Whitney dan metoda difference�in�differences. Pendapatan petani padi, melalui uji Wilcoxon dan Mann-Whitney diperoleh hasil yang signifikan, yang berarti program bantuan alat mesin pertanian dapat meningkatkan pendapatan petani padi. Melalui metoda difference-in-differences diperoleh estimasi dampak mekanisasi terhadap peningkatan pendapatan petani padi sebesar Rp686.953. Uji Wilcoxon dan Mann-Whitney juga digunakan untuk menganalisis pendapatan petani di luar pertanian, menunjukkan tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara pendapatan petani di luar pertanian melalui mekanisasi parsial dengan pendapatan petani di luar pertanian melalui mekanisasi penuh. Analisis yang digunakan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi produksi padi adalah menggunakan data panel dengan Random Effect Model (REM). Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa luas lahan dan penggunaan pupuk berpengaruh terhadap produksi padi, sedangkan jumlah benih tidak berpengaruh terhadap produksi. Hasil regresi juga mengindikasikan bahwa periode produksi berpengaruh terhadap produksi padi, di mana setelah adanya program bantuan alat mesin pertanian produksi padi lebih besar dibandingkan dengan produksi sebelum adanya program, sedangkan jenis mekanisasi tidak berpengaruh terhadap produksi padi.

This research aims to calculate income and income difference in rice farming activities and in non farm activities with partial and full mechanization. This research also aims to analyze several factors that influence rice production in Klaten Regency. The research employs 80 rice farmers as respondents. The method of analysis to determine the increase in the income of rice farmers is using the Wilcoxon test, Mann-Whitney test and the method of difference-in-differences. Increased income of rice farmers, through the Wilcoxon test and the Mann-Whitney obtained significant results, which means that the program of agricultural machinery can help increase the income of rice farmers. Through the method of difference-in-differences estimates obtained impact of mechanization on rice farmers' income increase by Rp686.953. Wilcoxon and Mann-Whitney test also used to analyze the off-farm income of farmers, showed no significant difference between off-farm income of farmers through partial mechanization and off-farm income through full mechanization. The analysis used to determine the factors that affect rice production use panel data regression by Random Effect Model (REM). The analysis showed that the area of land and the use of fertilizers affect the production of rice, whereas no effect on the amount of seed production. The regression results also indicate that the production period affect the rice production, where the rice production after the aid programs of agricultural machinery is greater than the production before the aid programs of agricultural machinery, whereas the type of mechanization not significanly effect on the amount of rice production.
