Perkembangan perangkat lunak CAD (Computer Aided Design) sangatlah pesat, sehingga para insinyur dituntut untuk dapat mengikuti perkembangan teknologi yang ada agar tidak tertinggal. Creo parametric 2.0 adalah salah satu perangkat lunak CAD terbaru yang memiliki banyak fitur, diantaranya adalah fitur desain pipa. Fitur desain pipa dapat digunakan untuk membuat instalasi pipa 3D pada assembly komponen dan non-assembly komponen. Dalam pembuatan desain instalasi pipa ini, penulis menerapkannya pada assembly mesin HRP Focus - 804. Hasil dari pembuatan desain pipa Creo Parametric 2.0 pada assembly mesin HRP Focus - 804 adalah instalasi pipa solid dan kemudian dibuat drawing report for piping dengan format file: PDF

The development of CAD software (Computer Aided Design) are very advanced, so the engineers claimed to be able to keep track of CAD technology in order to not to miss. Creo parametric 2.0 is the latest CAD that has numerous features, amongst piping design. Feature design piping can be used to create a 3D pipeline installation on the component assembly or without component. In making the design of pipe installation, the author uses a part-assembly of HRP Focus - 804 machine. The results of piping design Creo Parametric 2.0 on the assembly of HRP Focus - 804 machine is the installation of a pipe with a solid form and then made drawing reports for piping with file formats: PDF.
