PRODUKSI PESAN KOMUNITAS DUNIA TAK LAGI SUNYI DI FACEBOOK (Studi Cyber-Ethnography tentang Produksi Pesan Anggota Komunitas Dunia Tak Lagi Sunyi di Media Jejaring Sosial Facebook)

Rintangan komunikasi akan menyulitkan, bila gangguan ini bersifat permanen seperti yang terjadi pada manusia dengan kemampuan indrawi yang kurang, tidak, serta berubah menjadi kurang atau tidak sempurna. Hal ini juga terjadi pada para penderita tuna rungu yang harus merasakan dunia yang sunyi karena tidak bisa mendengar. Komunitas Dunia Tak Lagi Sunyi (DTLS) hadir memanfaatkan media jejaring sosial Facebook dan beranggotakan pengguna Facebook yang peduli pada penderita tuna rungu. Dengan menerapkan metode cyber-ethnography, studi ini mengobservasi produksi pesan anggota komunitas DTLS di media jejaring sosial Facebook. Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa produksi pesan anggota-anggota komunitas DTLS cenderung berupa komunikasitransaksional, menghadirkan �keriuhan� baru, lebih menempatkan media jejaringsosial Facebook dalam fungsinya sebagai media partisipasi sosial, dan memberi nilai guna dalam penanganan para penderita tuna rungu.

Barriers to communication will cause communication breakdown, especially when the disorder permanently happens in disabilities people. This problem also occurs to the deaf people who will always feel the silent world due to their hearing problem. The community of DuniaTakLagiSunyi (DTLS), literally means the World No Longer Silent, is established by utilizing social network media Facebook. This community consists of Facebook users who fully concern on to the deaf people. In compliance with the cyber-ethnographic method, this study observed the message production of the DTLS community members on the Facebook social network media. The study shows that the production of the message tends to be in a transactional communication, presents a new "hubbub" for the deaf people, puts Facebook in its function as a social participation media, and provides various useful treatments for people with hearing impairment.
