ANALISIS UNJUK KERJA NODE B TERHADAP KASUS IP PACKET LOSS PADA SYSTEM 3G

Operator telekomunikasi WCDMA (Wide Code Division Multiple Access) atau 3G sering menemukan permasalahan yang berhubungan dengan kualitas jaringannya. Salah satu penyebab masalah kualitas jaringannya adalah menurunnya unjuk kerja transmisi pada sebuah Node B. Hal ini menyebabkan operator harus menjaga kinerja jaringan pada tingkat kualitas yang memuaskan pelanggan. Untuk meningkatkan kepuasan pada pelanggan, operator selalu berusaha untuk meningkatkan kualitas jaringannya. Pada tugas akhir ini, peneliti memilih untuk menganalisis unjuk kerja Node B terhadap case IP Packet Loss. Untuk mengetahui kualitas jaringannya dengan melakukan pengecekan Total Ping Loss dan Key Performance Indicator pada Node B tersebut menggunakan iManage M2000. Berdasarkan hasil pengecekan Total Ping Loss dan Key Performance Indicator setelah dilakukan perubahan dan perbaikan didapatkan bahwa unjuk kerja Pacific Place 2 dan Pacific Place 1 meningkat. Dari hasil pengukuran ini, maka diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa kedua Node B tersebut telah teroptimasi dengan baik.

WCDMA (Wide Code Division Multiple Access) or system 3G telecommunication operators often find the problems associated with network quality. One cause of the problem quality of the network is because declining performance of a Node B transmission. It makes the operator must maintain network performance at a satisfactory level of customers. To improve customer satisfaction, operators are always trying to improve the quality of the network. At this final project, the researcher chose to analyze a Node B performance from IP Packet Loss case. To find out the quality of the network with total checked ping loss and Key Performance Indicator on the Node B with iManager M2000. Based on the results of the Ping Total checking and Key Performance Indicator after made changes and improvements achieved that performance of Pacific Place 2 and Pacific Place 1 increase. From the results of these measurements, it is concluded that the Node B has been fully optimized properly.
