PERBAIKAN DESAIGN BACK FRAME SEAT DRIVER

2014 | Tugas Akhir | D3 TEKNIK MESINPada era globalisasi ini, persaingan dan kompetisi sudah menjadi sebuah budaya, begitu juga dibidang industri otomotif. Seat sangat penting untuk kendaraan khususnya truk, karena mahalnya material untuk membuat back frame driver seat dan mahalnya proses produksi maka dilakukan improvement pada back frame driver seat supaya dapat menurunkan harga Dalam pembuatan back frame seat driver terjadi masalah pada bracket reclining yaitu terjadi crack pada bracket reclining. Masalah crack pada bracket reclining dapat diatasi dengan penambahan reinforcement.Tetapi saat ditambahkan reinforcement biaya pembuatannya malah semakin mahal. Dari masalah itu dilakukan diskusi untuk menentukan ide dan konsep supaya dapat mengatasi crack tersebut dan meminimalisir biaya proses produksi back frame seat driver.Setelah ide dan konsep mendapat persetujuan dari leader kemudian merealisasikan konsep tersebut dengan membuat desain 3D back frame seat driver. Dari desain 3D kemudian dianalisa dengan CAE supaya dapat mengetahui karakteristik mekanik,statis,dinamis,maupun thermal produk desain yang telah dibuat. Setelah itu membuat barang semirip mungkin dengan desain tersebut (prototype). Setelah dilakukan improvement mendapatkan penurunan cost pada proses produksi yang semula cost satu back frame seat driver Rp 71.514 menjadi Rp 65.339. Terjadi presentasi penurunan cost produksi sebesar 9%,Setelah dilakukan improvement sudah tidak terjadi crack pada bracket reclining. Kata kunci: Reinforcement, Prototype, Improvement
In this era of globalization, the competition has become a culture, as well as in the field of automotive industry. Seat is very important for vehicles, especially trucks, because of the expensive materials to make the driver seat back frame and costly production process is carried out improvement on the back frame driver seat in order to reduce prices. In making the back frame seat driver there are problems that occur in the bracket reclining, crack in the bracket reclining.Problems crack in the bracket reclining can be overcome by the addition of reinforcement. But when added reinforcement it cost even more expensive. From the problems, team make concepst and ideas so that can overcome problem crack and minimize the cost of the production process. After concepts and ideas get approval from the leader, then realize the concepts to make 3D design back frame seat driver. From 3D design then analyzed by CAE in order to determine the mechanical characteristics, static, dynamic, and thermal products design that have been made. After that make goods as closely as possible with the design (prototype). After getting improvement cost reduction in the production process of the original cost of the driver seat back frame Rp 71,514 to Rp 65,339. Presentation occurs decrease production costs by 9%, After the improvement has not occurred crack in the bracket reclining.
