METAFORA DALAM LIRIK LAGU EFEK RUMAH KACA

Lagu-lagu Efek Rumah Kaca (ERK) adalah lagu-lagu yang bertema lingkungan, sosial, politik, moralitas dan berbagai fenomena yang terjadi di masyarakat. Di dalam lirik lagunya, terdapat metafora-metafora yang dipakai. Selain sebagai fungsi estetika, metafora tersebut berfungsi sebagai ekspresi ide-ide yang ingin disampaikan oleh ERK. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk-bentuk metafora yang terdapat dalam lirik lagu ERK, jenis-jenis metafora berdasarkan klasifikasi medan semantik, serta mendeskripsikan fungsi-fungsi metafora pada lagu ERK. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode catat, dengan sumber data utama adalah 24 lagu Efek Rumah Kaca. Metode analisis data dilakukan dengan metode padan. Sementara itu, untuk penyajian datanya digunakan metode informal. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa setiap metafora memiliki elemen pembentuk yaitu source domain dan target domain. Terdapat 3 bentuk metafora berdasrkan klasifikasi metafora konseptual. Terdapat 7 jenis metafora nominatif dan 8 jenis metafora predikatif berdasarkan medan semantik pada lagu ERK. Hasil penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 4 fungsi metafora pada lirik lagu ERK.

Efek Rumah Kaca (ERK) mostly create song that take the issue of environment, social, politics, morality, and the various phenomena which happen through the society. Therefore, the song lyrics usually contain several metaphors. Beside for the aesthetic purpose, those metaphors are also use to express the idea of ERK itself. The aims of the research are describe the form of metaphor used in ERK song, the type of metaphor used semantically, and describe the function of metaphor as mentioned in ERK song. Collecting data of the research is doing by note recorded method, which the object of the research is twenty four song of ERK. The method of analysis data doing by comparing method. Then, the result of the research present by informal presentation method. The research found that every metaphor has the formation element, which are source domain and target domain. There are three types of metaphor, according to conceptual metaphor classification. Semantically, there are seven nominative metaphor types and eight predictive metaphor types in the ERK song lyric. The research also found that there are four functions of metaphor in the song lyric.
