STUDI EKSPERIMENTAL PEMANFAATAN MICRO-BUBBLE GENERATOR SEBAGAI AIR LIFT PUMP UNTUK APLIKASI PENGANGKATAN ENDAPAN PARTIKEL DALAM AIR

Endapan ini menyebabkan berkurangnya kadar oksigen di dalam air dan akan mengurangi kualitas udara dan oksigen dalam air. Sebuah pompa yang disebut Air Lift Pump menjadi sebuah alat yang efektif, efisien dan minim perawatan untuk mengangkat endapan material Telah banyak dilakukan studi penelitian mengenai manfaat dari microbubble untuk meningkatkan kualitas air, pengolahan limbah dan meningkatkan kadar kualitas oksigen dalam air. Hal ini akan dikombinasikan dengan sistem kerja airlift pump yang disebut micro-bubble generator air lift pump. Micro-bubble generator dipasang dibagian dasar pada pipa vertikal setinggi 3 meter dengan tujuan untuk mengangkat endapan partikel bersamaan air dan udara. Variasi partikel akan diuji dengan micro-bubble generator airlift pump untuk mengetahui laju kecepatan partikel yang dapat diangkat oleh alat ini. Image processing akan dilakukan pada penelitian ini guna menganalisis pergerakan partikel pada pipa vertikal dari micro-bubble generator air lift. Selain itu investigasi dengan image processing akan memberikan analisis terbaik dari distribusi bubble saat alat ini djalankan.
In fisheries in inland seas, uneaten feed and droppings deposit on the sea beds, and in lakes and city water reservoirs, fallen leafs, mud and sand also deposit on their beds. The deposits cause the shortage of oxygen in water as well as the water capacity in lakes and city water reservoirs. In order to remove such deposits, an air-lift-pump has been paid attention because of a merit of rarely occlusion in comparison with conventional pumps. Micro-bubbles are tiny bubble which have size in micrometers, have low ricing velocity and have an ability to increase oxygen in water. From the basic concept of this microbubble, it will be applied to the airlift pump in a vertical pipe condition. By using a 50mm diameter acrylic pipe , vertical pipe will be installed as high as 3meter and at the bottom position of the pipe microbubble generator will be installed as well as a water tool removal to know the condition of water and air particles are mixed each of them. Particle specifications will be tested on micro-bubble generator air lift pump to how the flow rate particle will be removed by this device. Image processing was performed to analyse the particle separation on vertical pipe when the microbubble-airlift pump operated together. In addition the Image Processing investigation could give the best analysis of particle separation on vertical pipe of Microbubble-Airlift pump. Image processing was also performed to get more information about the size of bubble diameter and the number of bubbles on while performed by this device.
