Pertumbuhan industri dewasa saat ini membutuhkan efisiensi dan produktivitas, itulah sebabnya sistem kontrol industri yang baik diperlukan. Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) adalah sebuah sistem kontrol yang dapat mengeksekusi, pemantauan dan memanipulasi proses dengan cepat. PLC memiliki program di memori, sehingga dapat melakukan fungsi khusus, seperti logika penghitungan, waktu, dan mengendalikan berbagai jenis mesin dengan digital atau analog input-output. Tugas akhir ini adalah pemanfaatan PLC CP1E-E30DR-A sebagai Simulator Sistem Kontrol Jalur Pengepakan Otomatis. Inputnya adalah push button dan proximity switch, sementara outputnya adalah motor DC yang mewakili konveyor, LED dan Buzzer. PLC adalah kontroller yang diproses input ke menjadi output. Simulator Sistem Kontrol Jalur Pengepakan Otomatis dengan menggunakan PLC CP1E-E30DR-A telah berhasil dilakukan. Dengan tambahan timer sebagai efisiensi pada proses pengepakan.

Industrial growth nowadays needs high efficiency and productivity, that�s why good industrial control system is needed. Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) is a control system that can executing, monitoring and manipulating the process quickly. PLC has programmable memory, so it can do special function, such as Logic counting, timing and controlling many kinds of machine with digital or analog input-output. This final task is the utilization of PLC CP1E-E30DR-A as an Automatic Packaging Line Control System simulator. The inputs were push button and proximity switch, while the output were DC motor that represents the conveyor, LED and buzzer. The PLC was a controller that processed the input to be output. The automatic packaging line control system simulator based on PLC CP1E-E30DR-A has been done. With timer addition, the packaging process more efficient.
