PENGARUH PENAMBAHAN KALIANDRA (Calliandra calothyrsus) TERHADAP KONSUMSI DAN KECERNAAN BAHAN KERING DAN BAHAN ORGANIK PADA KAMBING BLIGON CEMPE BETINA, DARA, DAN INDUK

2014 | Skripsi | ILMU DAN INDUSTRI PETERNAKANPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui konsumsi dan kecernaan bahan kering dan bahan organik pada kambing bligon cempe betina, dara dan induk yang diberi penambahan kaliandra (Calliandra calothyrsus) pada ransum. Penelitian dilaksanakan selama 3 bulan menggunakan 18 ekor kambing bligon betina yang di kelompokkan menjadi 3 yaitu 6ekor cempe umur 5 bulan denga rata-rata bobot awal 13,8 kg, 6 ekor dara umur 10 bulan dengan rata-rata bobot awal 20,8 kg dan 6 ekor induk umur 2 tahun dengan rata bobot awal 28,4 kg, kemudian dianalisis statistik dengan Independent Sample T-test. Perlakuan yang dilakukan berupa pemberian pakan yaitu berupa hijauan jagung yang di berikan secara ad libitium dan 50% Hijauan jagung + 50% Calliandra calothyrsus. Variabel yang diamati selama penelitian adalah konsumsi dan kecernaan bahan kering dan bahan organik, dan pertambahan berat badan harian (PBBH). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perbedaan yang nyata (P<0,05) antara perlakuan pakan hijauan jagung dan pakan dengan penambahan kaliandra terhadap konsumsi bahan kering cempe dan dara (16,69;26,92 dan 22,19;38,18 g/kg BB/hari), konsumsi bahan organik cempe, dara dan induk (13,21;25,98, 19,46;36,89, dan 18,33;37,43 g/kg BB/hari). Namun memberikan hasil yang tidak nyata terhadap konsumsi bahan kering induk, kecernaan bahan kering cempe, dara, serta induk, kecernaan bahan organik cempe, dara, serta induk dan pertambahan bobot badan harian cempe, dara dan induk. Hal ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa penambahan kaliandra meningkatkan konsumsi bahan kering dan organik namun belum mampu memberikan pengaruh terhadap kecernaan bahan kering dan organik dan pertambahan berat badan harian (PBBH)
This study was conducted to determine the effects supplementation Calliandra calothyrsus on consumption and digestibility of dry matter and organic matter in kid, doe kid and doe of bligon. This research was held for three months using eighteen. Bligon goats into three groups, six kids bligon goats aged five month with an average initial weight of 13.8 kg, six doe kids bligon goats aged ten month with an average initial weight of 20.8 kg and, six does bligon goats aged two years with an average initial weight of 28.4 kg and then statistically analyzed with Independent Sample T-test. The treatments with corn leaves were given ad libitum and 50% corn leaves + 50% Calliandra calothyrsus. Variables collected were dry matter and orgabic matter intake, dry matter and organic matter digestibility, and also average daily gain. The result showed that was a significant (P<0,05) differences between the treatment using Calliandra calothyrsus and without Calliandra calothyrsus in dry matter intake (16.69;26.92 and 22.19;38.18 g/kg BB/day) and organic matter intake (13.21;25.98, 19.46;36.89, and 18.33;37.43 g/kg BB/day). On the other hand, there were not significant differencees between without Calliandra calothyrsus and with Calliandra calothyrsus in dry matter digestibility, organic matter digestibility and average daily gain. It can be concluded that there were effect supplementation Calliandra calothyrsus in dry matter intake, organic matter intake. The treatment were not effect in dry matter digestibility, organic matter digestibility and average daily gain.
