Prarancangan Pabrik Benzaldehyde dari Kulit Kayu Manis Kapasitas 600 ton/tahun

2014 | Skripsi | TEKNIK KIMIABenzaldehyde dibuat dengan reaksi dalam Reaktor Alir Tangki Berpengaduk dengan bantuan katalis berupa larutan 2 HPb-CD dan NaOH. Pabrik dirancang dengan kapasitas 600 ton/tahun, dengan kebutuhan kulit kayu manis sebanyak 4.935,00 kg/jam. Kebutuhan utilitas meliputi air sebanyak 22.571,63 kg/jam, listrik sebanyak 2,2 MVA, bahan bakar berupa fuel oil sebanyak 560,69 kg/jam, dan udara tekan (STP) sebanyak 150 m3/jam. Pabrik ini direncanakan didirikan pada tahun 2017 di Provinsi Jambi. Luas tanah yang digunakan seluas 4 Ha termasuk untuk perumahan dan perluasan areal pabrik. Pabrik bekerja secara kontinu selama 24 jam per hari, selama 330 hari per tahun dengan jumlah karyawan 150 orang. Kebutuhan modal tetap, FCI sebesar US$ 38.193.556 + Rp 420.129.117.405. Modal kerja, WCI sebesar Rp 217.882.250.146,00. Keuntungan sebelum pajak sebesar Rp 241.561.785.599,00/tahun dan setelah pajak sebesar Rp 181.171.339.199,00/tahun. ROI (Return of Investment) sebelum pajak sebesar 37,86% dan sesudah pajak sebesar 28,40%. POT (Pay Out Time) sebelum pajak 1,48 tahun dan sesudah pajak 1,88 tahun. BEP (Break Even Point) sebesar 27,54% dari kapasitas maksimum produksi, sedangkan SDP (Shut Down Point) sebesar 12,42% dari kapasitas maksimum produksi. Nilai DCFRR sebesar 39,22% per tahun. Dengan mempertimbangkan sifat bahan baku dan produk, kondisi operasi, analisis pasar, dan pabrik sejenis yang sudah berdiri, maka pabrik ini digolongkan sebagai pabrik beresiko rendah. Dengan kriteria ROI sebelum pajak minimum 24%, POT sebelum pajak maksimum 3, BEP 40-60%, dan DCFRR minimal 1,5% per bulan, pabrik �¢ï¿½ï¿½Benzaldehyde dari Kulit Kayu Manis�¢ï¿½ï¿½ ini menarik untuk dikaji lebih lanjut.
Benzaldehyde is produced from a reaction in Continuous Stirred Tank Reactor with 2 HPb-CD and NaOH solution as catalyst. This plant is designed to operate on 600 tons/year capacity, with cinnamon bark requirement as much as 4.935,00 kg/hour. Utility needs include 22.571,63 kg/hour of water, 2,2 MVA of electricity, 560,69 kg/hour of fuel oil, and 150 m3/hour of compressed air. This plant is planned to be established in 2017 in Jambi. Land area used is as much as 4 Hectares, including residential area and plant expansion area. This plant works continuously for 24 hours per day, 330 day per years with 150 employeers. Fixed Capital Investment (FCI) requirement is as much as US$ 38.193.556 + Rp 420.129.117.405, while working Capital Investment (WCI) requirement is as much as Rp 217.882.250.146,00. Profit before taxes reaches Rp 241.561.785.599,00/year, and after taxes Rp 181.171.339.199,00/year. ROI (Return of Investment) before taxes is 37,86% and after taxes is 28,40%. POT (Pay Out Time) before taxes is 1,48 years and after taxes is 1,88 years. Considering the raw material characteristic, operating conditions, market analysis, and similar plants that has already established, this plant is classified as low-risk plant. Restrictions that applies are 24% of minimum ROI before taxes, 3 years of maximum POT before taxes, 40%-60% of BEP, and 1,5% per month of minimum DCFRR. It can be concluded that the plant �¢ï¿½ï¿½Benzaldehyde from Cinnamon Bark�¢ï¿½ï¿½ is interesting to be studied further.
