LITERASI DIGITAL SEBAGAI MEDIATOR HUBUNGAN ANTARA CIRI KEPRIBADIAN EXTRAVERSION, NEUROTICISM DAN OPENNESS TO EXPERIENCE DENGAN PSYCHOLOGICAL WELL-BEING PADA REMAJA PENGGUNA TEKNOLOGI

Beberapa penelitian di bidang psikologi teknologi mengungkapkan banyaknya dampak negatif akibat dari penggunaan teknologi antara lain peningkatan terjadinya adiksi internet, gangguan kecemasan sosial, depresi, cyberbullying sehingga diduga remaja mengalami penurunan psychological wellbeing. Padahal di era perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (ICT) saat ini, setiap individu dituntut untuk dapat menggunakan teknologi dengan tepat, sehingga dapat berdampak positif dan mengurangi dampak negatif tersebut. Kemampuan individu di dalam menggunakan teknologi secara tepat dan efektif inilah yang disebut dengan literasi digital. Oleh sebab itu, penelitian ini akan menguji peran literasi digital yang dilihat berdasarkan hubungan kepribadian extraversion,neuroticism, dan openness to experience terhadap psychological well-being pada remaja pengguna teknologi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif, dengan jumlah subjek 200 remaja berusia antara 17-24 tahun. Pengukuran penelitian ini menggunakan skala literasi digital, neuroticism, openness to experience dan Psychological Well-Being. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa literasi digital dapat meningkatkan psychological well-being (ß = 0,053) pada remaja dengan ciri kepribadian neuroticism, dan tidak berperan sebagai mediasi pada ciri kepribadian extraversion (ß = -0,005) dan openness to experience (ß = -0,106) di dalam mencapai psychological well-being. Several research in psychology technology reveals many negative impacts as a result of the use of technology such as an increase in the occurrence of internet addiction, social anxiety disorder, depression, cyberbullying that allegedly adolescents has decreased psychological well-being. In fact, in the era of information technology and communication technology (ICT) today, each individual is required to be able to use technology appropriately, so as to have a positive impact and reduce the negative impact. The ability of individuals in the use of technology appropriately and effectively is called the digital literacy. Therefore, this study will examine the role of digital literacy as mediator the relationship between extraversion, neuroticism, and openness to experience personality to psychological well-being in young technology users. This research is quantitative study, the number of subjects 200 adolescents aged between 17-24 years. This research uses measurement scale digital literacy, extraversion, neuroticism, openness to experience and Psychological Well-Being. The results show that digital literacy can improve psychological well-being (ß =0.053) in adolescents with neuroticism, and not as mediation on the extraversion (ß =-0.005) and openness to experience (ß =-0.106) to achieve psychological well-being.
