Analisis Kapasitas Runway Selatan Bandar Udara Internasional Soekarno-Hatta

Meningkatnya jumlah penumpang pengguna transportasi udara berpengaruh pada tingginya jadwal penerbangan. Maka tak heran jika bandar udara di beberapa wilayah di Indonesia mengalami kenaikan tingkat kepadatan baik pada sisi udara maupun sisi daratnya. Menurut Airports Council International, Bandar Udara Internasional Soekarno-Hatta termasuk dalam 10 besar bandar udara tersibuk di dunia pada tahun 2013. Komponen utama bandar udara dalam menangani pergerakan pesawat ialah runway. Untuk dapat mengetahui kemampuan runway dalam melayani pergerakan pesawat maka perlu diketahui kapasitas eksistingnya.Pada Tugas Akhir ini, dilakukan perhitungan kapasitas eksisting runway selatan Bandar Udara Internasional Soekarno-Hatta berdasar metode analitis dan metode FAA.Kapasitas runway menurut metode analitis bergantung pada jarak separasi antar pesawat dan urutan antrian pesawat terbang, sedangkan menurut metode FAA bergantung pada konfigurasi runway di bandar udara terkait. Permintaan pergerakan pesawat terbang pada hari puncak ialah sebesar 41 pergerakan/jam. Dari hasil analisis yang dilakukan, kapasitas eksisting runway selatan Bandar Udara Internasional Soekarno-Hatta berdasar metode analitis ialah 34 pergerakan/jam, sedangkan berdasar metode FAA kondisi VFR/IFR sebesar 95/88 pergerakan/jam. Kapasitas eksisting runway selatan berdasar metode analitis sudah tidak mampu melayani permintaan pergerakan yang ada. Oleh karena itu dilakukan upaya peningkatan dengan pengaturan jarak separasi antar pesawat sesuai standar FAA dan penambahan exit taxiway di lokasi ideal. Nilai kapasitas runway selatan setelah dilakukan pengaturan jarak separasi antar pesawat dengan standar FAA menjadi 45 pergerakan/jam atau terjadi peningkatan sebesar 32,4%. Penambahan exit taxiway di antara exit taxiway S1 dan S2 meningkatkan kapasitas runway selatan menjadi 55 pergerakan/jam atau meningkat 61,8%, sedangkan penambahan exit taxiway di antara exit taxiway S6 dan S7 meningkatkan kapasitas runway selatan menjadi 57 pergerakan/jam atau meningkat 76,5%. Berdasar data sekunder serta analisis yang dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan metode analitis cocok digunakan untuk perhitungan kapasitas eksisting runway selatan Bandar Udara Internasional Soekarno-Hatta dengan hasil bahwa kapasitas sudah tidak mencukupi permintaan pergerakan pesawat sehingga perlu dilakukan upaya peningkatan dengan pengurangan jarak separasi antar pesawat dan penambahan exit taxiway.
Airports in Indonesia have become one of transportation infrastructure that have been grown rapidly. The number of increased air transport passengers may affects the height of airline schedule. Therefore, the density in some of airports in Indonesia have been increased both on the airside and ground side. According to Airports Council International, Soekarno-Hatta International Airport is placed among the 10 world�s busiest airport in 2013. The main component that handles aircraft movements is runway. To be able to know the runway capability to serve aircraft movements, then the existing capacity should be calculated. In this bachelor thesis, existing capacity of south runway Soekarno-Hatta International Airport calculated by analytical method and FAA method. Runway capacity based on analytical method depends on aircraft separation and the aircrafts order, while FAA method based on runway use configurationat at the airport. The aircraft movement demands on peak day is known for 41 movemenst/hour. From the analysis that has been done, existing capacity of south runway Soekarno-Hatta International Airport by analytical method is 34 movements/hour, while FAA method results in VFR/IFR condition is 95/88 movemensts/hour. According to analytical method, it means that the levels of demandhave exceed the capacity. Therefore, some efforts need to be applied to increase the capacity, such as maintaining aircraft separation by the FAA separation standard and addition of exit taxiway in the ideal location. When maintaining aircraft separation by the FAA separation standard is taken into account, the south runway capacity is 45 movements/hour or increased by 32,4%. Addition of exit taxiway between exit taxiway S1 and S2 has made the south runway capacity to become 55 movements/hour or 61,8%, while addition of exit taxiway between exit taxiway S6 and S7 the capacity becomes 57 movements/hour or 76,5%. According to secondary data and analysis that has been done, it can be concluded that analytical method is suitable to be used for south runway Soekarno-Hatta International Airport existing capacity calculation and the result is that the levels of demand have exceed the capacity; therefore, in order to increase the capacity some efforts, such as maintaining aircraft separation by the FAA separation standard and addition of exit taxiway, need to be applied.
