SINTESIS MAGNETIT-HIDROTALSIT SEBAGAI HOST PELEPASAN ION MEFENAMAT

2014 | Tesis | S2 Ilmu KimiaSintesis magnetit-hidrotalsit terinterkalasi ion mefenamat telah dilakukan. Sintesis dilakukan melalui metode kopresipitasi dengan perbandingan mol Mg/Al = 2, Mg/Fe = 10 dan perlakuan hidrotermal pada 100 °C selama 15 jam. Interkalasi ion mefenamat ke dalam antar lapis Mg/Al NO3ˉ hidrotalsit dilakukan melalui reaksi penukaran ion. Kinetika penukaran ion dan pelepasan ion mefenamat dari material tersebut juga dipelajari. Data XRD menunjukkan bahwa setelah penukaran ion jarak antar bidang (d003) magnetit-hidrotalsit berubah dari 8,77 Å menjadi 22,35 Å. Spektra FTIR menunjukkan serapan simetri dan asimetri gugus karboksilat pada 1381 cmˉ1 dan 1612 cmˉ1. Reaksi penukaran ion NO3ˉ oleh mefenamat mengikuti kinetika reaksi orde dua. Uji pelepasan yang dilakukan dari menit 30-360 menunjukkan kondisi optimum pelepasan ion mefenamat dari matriks magnetit-hidrotalsit dicapai setelah 180 menit.
Synthesis of Mg/Al hydrotalcite and magnetite-hydrotalcite intercalated mefenamate ion has been attempted. Synthesis was performed by coprecipitation method with Mg/Al mol ratio of 2, Mg/Fe of 10 and hydrothermal treatment at 100 °C for 15 hours. Mefenamate ion intercalation into the interlayer Mg/Al NO3ˉ hydrotalcite was done by ion exchange reaction. Kinetics of ion exchange and release of mefenamate ion in matrices material has also been studied. XRD data after ion exchange showed that changes in the interlayer basal spacing (d003) magnetite-hydrotalcite before and after intercalation is 8.77 Å to 22.35 Å. FTIR Spectra showed symmetry and asymmetry carboxylate groups at 1381 and 1612 cmˉ1. Anion exchange reaction of NO3ˉ by mefenamate ion followed second order kinetics. Release test performed from 30 to 360 min showed the optimum conditions of release of mefenamate ion from magnetitehydrotalcite matrix is obtained fully after 180 minutes.
