PENGARUH TIPE, UKURAN DAN WARNA FONT PANEL INDIKATOR MOBIL LISTRIK TERHADAP WAKTU RESPON PENGEMUDI

Kajian untuk mengembangkan desain mobil listrik terus dilakukan salah satunya pada panel indikator. Berdasarkan hasil survey pendahuluan yang dilakukan pada 25 responden berstatus pengemudi kendaraan bermotor menunjukkan bahwa sebanyak 96% dari 25 responden merasa informasi pada panel indikator menambah rasa aman dalam berkendara karena pengemudi dapat mengetahui performa kendaraan secara pasti, 92% merasa desain tata letak instrument panel mempengaruhi konsentrasi pengemudi pada saat ingin membaca informasi yang ada di dalam panel indikator 93% merasakan kompleksitas panel indikator menjadi pemicu kesalahan saat membaca indikator, dan 96% menyatakan bahwa kontras pada warna, ukuran, dan jenis font berpengaruh terhadap visualisasi pengemudi yang erat kaitannya dengan penerimaan informasi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan usulan desain panel indikator yang memudahkan pengemudi dalam menerima informasi pada display panel indikator. Usulan display instrument panel yang diteliti adalah dengan melakukan kombinasi warna font biru dengan nilai RGB (0,0,255) dan putih (255,255,255); ukuran font 24 dan 60 dan jenis font arial dan digital pada panel indikator selanjutnya melihat pengaruhnya terhadap waktu respon dalam menerima informasi pada 25 pengemudi selaku responden. Metode kajian yang digunakan adalah Kano dan desain eksperimental. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hanya warna yang mempengaruhi persepsi pengemudi. Display usulan yang menghasilkan waktu respon terbaik adalah perlakuan dengan display 2, artinya pengemudi lebih cepat menerima informasi pada display 2 dengan tipe font Arial, ukuran font 60 ,dan warna font putih dan dengan rata – rata waktu respon 1,21 detik.

Indicator panel for car has been a focus on research for many years since it has important to secure drivers and passenger from accident or to drive safely. Recent study which was conducted for 25 respondent show that 96% stated information from indicator panel adds sense of security, 92% respondents stated concentration was affected from instrument panel lay out, 93% respondents felt the complexity of the i ndicator panel trigger an error, and 96% respondents stated that contrast in color, size and font type affect the visualization driver for receiving the information from the indicator panel. The purpose of this research is to postulate additional information for designing the most convenient display panel indicator for the driver to receiving information. Research design for this study was to examine driver response time by combining both font color blue RGB (0,0,255) and white RGB (0,0,255); font size (size 24 and 60); Arial and digital font type. This research was conducted with Kano and Design of Experimental (DoE). Result from this study shown that font color had a significant atribute.
