ANALISA KERUSAKAN FILTER VPQ (VERY PREMIUM QUALITY) PADA PROSES PAPER DI PT. SELAMAT SEMPURNA Tbk.

Pada saat melakukan kerja praktek di PT. SELAMAT SEMPURNA Tbk., penulis mempelajari tentang proses paper. Proses paper merupakan sebuah proses manufaktur dari komponen utama filter, yaitu paper. Melalui proses kerja praktek, penulis mengamati dan mencatat angka kerusakan pada proses ini. Penulis melihat bahwa permasalahan ini tidak begitu dimonitor dengan baik dikarenakan besarnya kapasitas produksi dalam pabrik. Tapi, permasalahan ini sesungguhnya memberikan masalah lain pada proses perakitan karena kekurangan yang terjadi pada material paper. Setelah menganalisa lebih jauh pada masing-masing tipe kerusakan, penulis memutuskan bahwa 3 penyebab utama dai tingginya angka kerusakan ini terletak pada 3 aspek yaitu Man (pekerja), Machine (mesin), dan Method (metode). Setelah menerima persetujuan dan pengumpulan data-data dari departemen Engineering, penulis segera menyusun hasil analisa menjadi susunan analisa yang lebih baik. Setelah melakukan proses analisa, ditemukan bahwa persentase dari masing-masing aspek adalah 42% untuk permasalahan Man, 43% untuk permasalahan Machine, dan 14% untuk Method. Ditemukan juga penyebab dari perbedaan angka masing-masing tipe kerusakan.

While doing internship in PT. SELAMAT SEMPURNA Tbk. , the writer was studied about paper process. Paper process is an manufacturing process of the main filter components which is a paper. Through the internship process, the writer observed and noted the defect number on this process. The writer saw that this problem was not really monitored well due to the big production capacity in the factory. But, this problem was actually gives some other problem to the assembly process because the paper stock is lacked. After further analyze each type of the defect, the writer conclude that the main reason of the high value of the defect number is 3 problems, which is Man, Machine, and Method. After receiving approval and gathering more data from the engineering department, the writer immediately write the analysis result onto thr proper analytical paper. After the analytical process, it is found that the percentage of each aspect is 42 % of Man trouble, 43 % of Machine effect and 14 % of lacking Method. It is also found the reason of the high, middle, and low number of each type of the defect.
