KRITIK TERHADAP UNIVERSALITAS DEMOKRASI BERDASARKAN PERSPEKTIF FILSAFAT POLITIK KARL MARX (1818 – 1883)

Penelitian ini berjudul Kritik Terhadap Universalitas Demokrasi Berdasarkan Filsafat Politik Karl Marx. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kepedulian peneliti pada kehidupan masyarakat modern saat ini yang terjebak pada idealisasi demokrasi yang menyesatkan. Persoalan utama yang akan ditemukan jawabannya dalam penelitian adalah realitas sesungguhnya dibalik universalitas demokrasi. Penelitian ini juga dimaksudkan untuk dapat menjawab persoalan-persoalan yang bersifat teoritis maupun praksis. Penelitian ini merupakan bentuk penelitian kepustakaan dengan model penelitian kualitatif. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan reflektif dan kritis. Objek penelitian terdiri dari filsafat politik sebagai objek formal dan universalitas demokrasi sebagai objek material. Adapun unsur-unsur metodis penelitian yang digunakan meliputi: interpretasi, koherensi intern, holistika, kesinambungan historis, idealisasi, dan refleksi kritis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa realitas dibalik fenomena universalitas demokrasi dapat dilihat dari tiga kondisi, yaitu: demokrasi sebagai konsekuensi logis dari kompleksitas basis material masyarakat, demokrasi sebagai ruang pertarungan kelas, dan demokrasi sebagai mistifikasi eksploitasi kelas. Refleksi terhadap ketiga kondisi tersebut, peneliti kemudian merumuskan manifesto pembebasan atas ketergantungan masyarakat terhadap idealisasi demokrasi. Pada akhir penulisan, peneliti juga mengemukakan refleksi kontekstual untuk menegaskan urgensi manifesto pembebasan.

This research entitled criticism of the universality of Democracy based on the political philosophy of Karl Marx. The research was distributed by the concern of researchers on the life of modern society are currently trapped in an idealization of democracy that is misleading. The main question is to be found the answer in research is the real reality behind the universality of democracy. The study was also intended to answer questions that theoretical and praxis. This research is a form of research libraries with qualitative research model. The approach being used is a critical and reflective approach. Object of research consists of political philosophy as the democracy and the universality of its formal objects as material objects. As for the elements of methodical research used include: interpretation, internal coherence, holistic, historical continuity, an idealization, and critical reflection. The results showed that the reality behind the phenomenon of universality of democracy can be seen from the three conditions, namely: democracy as a logical consequence of the complexity of the material base of society, democracy as a space fighting class, and democracy as the mystification of exploitation class. Reflections on the third of these conditions, the researchers then formulate a manifesto of liberation on the dependency of society towards an idealization of democracy. At the end of the writing, the researchers also suggested a contextual reflection to affirm the urgency of manifesto of liberation.
