PENENTUAN JUMLAH KEBUTUHAN TENAGA KERJA MELALUI STUDI WAKTU DENGAN MEMPERTIMBANGKAN LABOUR TURN OVER (LTO) DAN ABSENSI PADA INDUSTRI GEPLAK MBOK TUMPUK BANTUL, YOGYAKARTA

Rizal Ardian(1), Nafis Khuriyati(2), Didik Purwadi(2) Persaingan yang semakin kompetitif menuntut setiap perusahaan untuk lebih meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia. Berkaitan dengan hal tersebut, perusahaan perlu menghitung tingkat beban kerja dengan kesesuaian jumlah karyawan yang dimiliki sehinga didapat keseimbangan antara beban kerja dengan jumlah karyawan yang efektif dan efisien. Beban kerja memegang peranan yang sangat penting. Dengan diketahuinya beban kerja maka akan dapat diketahui seberapa besar beban yang harus ditanggung oleh pekerja, dan apakah terjadi kelebihan tenaga kerja atau sebaliknya. Kegiatan penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui beban kerja dan kebutuhan tenaga kerja di industri geplak Mbok Tumpuk. Penentuan jumlah tenaga kerja menggunakan pendekatan workforce analysis yang mempertimbangkan workload, tingkat absensi dan labour turn over. Workload merupakan analisis beban kerja yang digunakan untuk menentukan jumlah jam kerja dengan menggunakan metode studi waktu. Untuk menentukan jumlah tenaga kerja terlebih dahulu dilakukan pengamatan dan pengambilan data untuk tiap elemen kegiatan, waktu kerja setiap elemen jumlah tenaga kerja aktual, kemudian data penelitian diolah dengan melakukan uji keseragaman data, uji kecukupan data dan menentukan waktu standar. Dari hasil perhitungan dapat diketahui kebutuhan tenaga kerja di industri geplak Mbok Tumpuk. Untuk memenuhi target produksi sebanyak 800 kelapa per hari yang akan menjadi 15 resep atau 15 ember yang pada awalnya berjumlah 12 orang dan setelah dilakukan penelitian diketahui jumlah tenaga kerja yang dibutuhkan untuk menyelesaikan target produksi adalah 8 orang. Rincian kebutuhan tenaga kerja secara berurutan adalah 4 orang untukstasiun pengupasan dan pembentukan, 1 orang untuk stasiun kerja pencucian kelapa, pemarutan dan penakaran, 2 orang untuk stasiun kerja pemasakan dan 1 orang untuk stasiun kerja 7. 1) Mahasiswa Jurusan Teknologi Industri Pertanian FTP UGM 2) Staff Pengajar Jurusan Teknologi Industri Pertanian FTP UGM

Relate with this, the company needs to calculate the level of workload with the number of employees who owned suitability, thus obtained workload balance between the number of effective employee and labor efisien. Workload is very important role. By knowing the workload it will be known how much of the burden to be borne by the workers, and whether there is excess labor or otherwise. This research activity aims to determine workload and manpower needs in the industry geplak Mbok Tumpuk. Determination of the amount of labor workforce analysis approach that considers the workload, absenteeism and labor turnover. Workload analysis is used to determine the number of hours worked by using the method of time study. To determine the amount of labor performed prior observation and data collection activities for each element, each element of the working time the actual amount of labor, then the data were analyzed to test the uniformity of data, test data and determine the adequacy of standard time. From the calculation results can be known in the industry geplak Mbok Tumpul workforce needs. To meet the production target of 800 coconuts in one day which would be 15 or 15 buckets recipe that was originally numbered 12 people and after the research found the amount of labor required to complete the production target is 8 people. Details of manpower needs in order are 4 people for station stripping and formation, 1 person for laundering work station coconut, grater and dosing, 2 people for cooking and 1 person for packaging station.
