KONTRIBUSI FAKTOR ABIOTIK DAN BIOTIK YANG MENGATUR POPULASI PENGGEREK BATANG JAGUNG DI KABUPATEN GORONTALO DAN POHUWATO PROVINSI GORONTALO

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh faktor iklim (curah hujan, suhu, dan kelembaban) dan sifat kimia (C-Organik, N-Total, dan C/N Ratio pada tanah dan tanaman) terhadap kepadatan populasi penggerek Batang Jagung Asia (ACB) di pertanaman jagung hibrida Bisi-2. Penelitian dilakukan di Kabupaten Pohuwato Kecamatan Patilanggio Desa Manawa, pada lahan seluas 2.500 m2 yang dibagi dalam 5 plot berukuran 3 x 3 m. Selama 9 kali pengamatan dengan interval 1 minggu. Pengamatan pertama dimulai pada 17 hari setelah tanam (HST). Sampel tanah diambil saat sebelum tanam, 30, dan 60 HST, sedangkan sampel tanaman yang ada serangan dan tidak ada serangan ACB diambil pada umur 30, 45, dan 60 HST. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa faktor abiotik yakni iklim (curah hujan, suhu, kelembaban) dan nutrisi tanah (C/N Ratio) tidak berpengaruh terhadap kepadatan kelompok telur dan larva ACB per tanaman. This research was carried out to observe the contribution of climatic factors (rainfall, temperature, humidity) and chemical properties (C-Organic, N-Total, and C/N Ratio) of soil and crops to the population density of Asian Corn Borer (ACB) in plant on the hybrid corn Bisi-2. This research in Pohuwato Regency, Patilanggio Manawa District was done on a 2,500 m2 land which was split into 5 plots of 3x3 m2 in dimension. Nine observations were conducted at one-week intervals. The first observation was conducted 17 days after planting (DAP). The soil was sampled before planting, on the 30th, and 60th DAP. The plants with and without ACB attack were sampled on the 30th, 45th, and 60th DAP. The analysis showed that the abiotic factors of climate (rainfall, temperature, humidity) and soil nutrients (C/N ratio) had no effect on the density of the egg masses and larvae of ACB per plant.
