RANCANG BANGUN APLIKASI ANDROID PENGENDALI LAMPU BERBASIS SMS

Short Message Service atau SMS merupakan layanan yang dilaksanakan dengan sebuah telepon genggam untuk mengirim dan menerima pesan pendek dengan maksimal 160 karakter 7 -bit yang menggunakan jaringan GSM atau CDMA secara komersial. Dengan SMS ini sebagai media komunikasi mengendalikan saklar listrik yang dapat diterima oleh masyarakat. Sampai saat ini SMS telah digunakan manusia diseluruh dunia. Program yang dibuat menggunakan aplikasi Android sebagai piranti kontrol, aplikasi dipersiapkan untuk pengendalian dengan menggunakan 2 karakter. Hasil yang dilakukan oleh aplikasi Android diterima IComSat v1.1 -SIM900 GSM/GPRS shield lalu SMS dieksekusi Arduino Uno. Kemudian Arduino Uno diproses untuk melaksanakan perintah mengendalikan saklar listrik. Hasil pengujian menampilkan proses pengendalian dari aplikasi Android sampai menerima informasi feedback. Dalam pengujian yang dilakukan pada 7 perintah mengendalikan saklar listrik mendapatkan rentang waktu rata-rata 24396 ms dan mengetahui kondisi saklar listrik mendapatkan rentang waktu rata-rata 24316 ms. Pengujian di lapangan dengan 10 responden menunjukkan rentang waktu tersebut masih bisa diterima.

Short Message Service or SMS is a service by a cell phone to send and receive short messages with a maximum of 160 characters on 7-bit GSM or CDMA network used commercially. SMS used for communication media control electrical switch that can be accepted by all of people. Until this time the SMS has been used people beings all over the world. Programs was created by using Android as the control device, the application is prepared to control electrical switches by 2 characters. The result were done by Android and received IComSat v1.1 -SIM900 GSM/GPRS shield so SMS were executed in Arduino Uno. And than the Arduino Uno is processed for execute command the electrical switch control. The test results display the process control from the Android aplication until receive the feedback information. In testing performed on 7 command control electrical switch have the length the average time 24396 ms and knowed the state electrical switch have the length the average time 24316 ms. Testing in the field with 10 respondents showing the time span can be acceptable.
