PENGARUH PERAN ANGGOTA TERHADAP KEBERLANJUTAN KELOMPOK USAHA PETERNAKAN SAPI POTONG DI KABUPATEN SRAGEN JAWA TENGAH

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui : 1) pengaruh faktor internal (sikap anggota, motivasi berkelompok dan pengetahuan peternak) dan faktor eksternal (keterdedahan informasi, peran penyuluh, peran pamong desa dan kepemimpinan kelompok) terhadap peran anggota kelompok usaha peternakan sapi potong; 2) pengaruh faktor internal (sikap anggota, motivasi berkelompok, pengetahuan peternak) dan faktor eksternal (keterdedahan informasi, peran penyuluh, peran pamong desa, kepemimpinan kelompok dan peran anggota kelompok) terhadap keberlanjutan usaha peternakan sapi potong. Lokasi penelitian yang dipilih adalah Kabupaten Sragen yang terdiri dari 20 kecamatan. Kemudian diambil 7 kecamatan secara purposive yaitu, Karangmalang, Gondang, Sambungmacan, Masaran, Mondokan, Sumberlawang dan Kedawung dengan pertimbangan merupakan sentra pembibitan sapi potong yang aktif dari bulan September sampai November 2010. Penentuan sampel penelitian dilakukan dengan teknik sensus berjumlah 204 orang dari 13 kelompok yang ada. Penelitian menggunakan metode survai eksplanatori dengan mengkombinasikan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif, analisis varian, dan analisis regresi persamaan simultan yang dilanjutkan dengan analisis jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, peran anggota kelompok usaha peternakan sapi potong di Kabupaten Sragen secara nyata dipengaruhi oleh faktor motivasi berkelompok, pengetahuan anggota, keterdedahan informasi, peran pamong desa dan kepemimpinan kelompok. Faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh nyata terhadap keberlanjutan kelompok usaha peternakan sapi potong di Kabupaten Sragen adalah motivasi berkelompok, pengetahuan peternak, keterdedahan informasi, peran pamong desa, kepemimpinan kelompok,dan peran anggota kelompok.

This research aims at finding out 1) the influence of internal factors (the members’ attitude, the group motivation, and the members’ knowledge) and the external factors such as information openness, the role of trainer and the role of village leaders, the group leadership, and the role of group members of beef cattle business group; 2) the influence of internal factors (the members’ attitude, the group motivation, the group leadership and members’ knowledge) and the external factors (information openness,the role of the trainer, the role of the village leaders dan the role of members’ group on the sustainability of beef cattle business.This research is conducted in SragenDistrict of Central Java consisting of 20 sub-districts and 7 sub-districts are chosen purposively. Those are Karangmalang, Gondang, Sambungmacan, Masaran, Mondokan, SumberlawangandKedawungwhich are the centers for beef cattle breeding and are still in business from September to November 2010. The groups chosen as the research samples are based on the census method covering 204 persons.This research uses explanatory survey method combining with quantitative and qualitative analysis. The data were analyzed descriptively, with varian and simultaneous equity regression analysis followed by line analysis. The research shows that, the role of the members’ group of beef cattle business in Sragen Regency is significantly influenced by factors such as group motivation, the group motivation, the knowledge of the members, the openness of information, the role of the village leaders and the group leadership,. The factors which significantly influence the sustainability of beef cattle business group in Sragen Regency are the group motivation, , the knowledge of the members, information openness, the role of the village leaders, the group leadership and the role of the group members.
