HUBUNGAN ANTARA KUALITAS LEADER MEMBER EXCHANGE DENGAN KOMITMEN ORGANISASI PEGAWAI BAPELKES SEMARANG

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya hubungan antara leader member exchange dengan komitmen organisasi. Penelitian ini melibatkan pegawai Bapelkes Semarang. Subjek yang diikutsertakan adalah pegawai negeri yang berada di kantor Bapelkes Semarang. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini menggunakan 2 skala yaitu skala komitmen organisasi dan skala kualitas leader member exchange. Skala komitmen organisasi mengacu pada skala yang dikembangkan oleh Steers & Porter (1990) sedangkan skala kualitas leader member exchange dikembangkan oleh Liden & Maslyn (1998). Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan korelasi product moment dari Pearson. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan korelasi product moment menunjukkan hubungan yang positif antara kualitas leader member exchange dengan loyalitas kerja (r=0,367; p<0,05). Nilai r2 = 0,135. Hal ini menunjukkan kualitas leader member exchange memberikan sumbangan sebesar 13,5% terhadap komitmen organisasi.

The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between leader member exchange with organizational commitment. This study involves the Bapelkes Semarang’s employees. The subject involved was civil employees in Bapelkes Semarang. The instrument in this study used 2 scale, organizational commitment scale and leader member exchange quality scale. The organizational commitment scale refers to Steers & Porter (1990), while the leader member exchange scale refers to Liden & Maslyn (1998). The data analysis in this study was using product moment correlation by Pearson. Based from product moment correlation, the result of this study shows positive relation between leader member exchange quality with working loyalty (r=0,367; p<0,05). r2 = 0,135. It shows that leader member exchange quality 13,5% affected the organizational commitment.
