GAMBARAN PEMENUHAN KEBUTUHAN SEKSUAL WARGA BINAAN LAKI-LAKI DI LEMBAGA PEMASYARAKATAN KLAS IIA YOGYAKARTA

Latar Belakang: Menurut Maslow (1970) ada 5 kebutuhan dasar manusia yang disusun membentuk sebuah piramida sesuai dengan tingkat kebutuhan yang disebut hirarki Maslow. Pemenuhan kebutuhan seksualitas termasuk dalam kebutuhan fisiologis yang terletak pada dasar piramida. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa, kebutuhan pemenuhan seksualitas menjadi hal yang sangat penting dalam kehidupan manusia Oleh karena itu bagaimanapun, kapanpun, dimanapun, kebtuhan seksualitas harus bisa terpenuhi walapun manusia sedang berada dalam keadaan sedang dibatasi ruang geraknya untuk melakukan aktivitas, seperti sedang menjalani hukuman di lembaga pemasyarakatan. Tujuan: untuk mengetahui gambaran pemenuhan kebutuhan seksual warga binaan laki-laki di Lapas Klas II A Yogyakarta Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif dengan metode kuantitatif. Data dianalisis secara univarian. Sampel penelitian adalah warga binaan laki-laki sebanyak 77 dengan menggunakan puposive sampling. Kriteria inklusi penelitian (1) Warga binaan yang berada di Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Klass IIA yang divonis hukuman lebih dari 1 tahun atau telah menjalani separuh hukumannya; (2) Warga binaan yang bersedia menjadi sampel penelitian. Kriteria eksklusi penelitian ini meliputi: (1) Narapidana yang buta huruf; (2)Transgender. Hasil: Pengalihan yang digunakan adalah beribadah dan mengaji 67,53%, berolahraga 41,56%, mengikuti keterampilan 25,97%, membaca buku 3,90%, tidur 3,90% dan bekerja 2,60%. Penyalurannya menggunakan masturbasi 25,97%, membayangkan wanita telanjang 25,97%, membaca majalah porno 16,88%, membayangkan melakukan hubungan 11,69%, homoseksual 2,60%, dan mimpi basah 1,30%. Kesimpulan: Hasrat seksual warga binaan laki-laki sebanyak 65% sering muncul dan 67,5% berkeinginan untuk menyalurkannya. Pemenuhan kebutuhan seksual warga binaan menggunakan penyaluran terbanyak masturbasi 25,97% dan pengalihan terbanyak ibadah dan mengaji 67,53%.

Background: According to Maslow (1970), there are five basic human needs in a pyramid-like form in accordance with need levels called as Maslow’s hierarchy. The Maslow’s hierarchy is ordered from the bottom to the top of pyramid, from physiological, safety, love, belongingness and love, esteem, and self-actualization needs. In the hierarchy, basic human needs with the highest level are located at the bottom of pyramid, and those with the lowest one is located at the top of pyramid. The meeting of sexual need is included into the physiological needs located at the bottom of Maslow’s pyramid. It shows that according to Maslow, sexual need is very important in human life, so if the need is not met, various sexual deviations will occur. Therefore, however, at anytime, and no matter where, although in the limited moving space for activities such among those undergoing punishment in the prison, the sexual need must be met. Objective: To find out a description of the meeting of sexual need among male inmates in the Prison of Class IIA, Yogyakarta. Method: This study was conducted by a descriptive approach with a quantitative method. The data were analyzed by a univariate descriptive analysis. Samples of the study were 77 female inmates selected using a purposive sampling technique. The inclusion criteria of the study were: (1) the male inmates were in the Prison of Class IIA for more than a year or had undergone a half of punishment duration; (2) they accepted to be the sample of the study. The exclusion criteria of the study were: (1) prisoners with illiteracy; (2) transgender. Result: The meeting of sexual need among the male inmates of the Prison of Class IIA Yogyakarta was done through two ways, i.e. to shift and to channelize sexual desires. The shifting of sexual desire by the male inmates were to perform religious services and recite Quran (67.53%), play sports (41.56%), apply skills taught in the Prison (25.97%), read some books (3.90%), sleep (3.90%), and work (2.60%). Meanwhile, the channelization of sexual desire done by them were to do masturbation (25.97%), imagine nude women (25.97%), read some pornographic magazines (16.88%), imagine making love (11.69%), make affairs with the same gender (2.60%), and sexual dream (1.30%). Conclusion: Sexual knowledge among the male inmates of the Prison of Class IIA Yogyakarta is relatively good. Sexual desire among them was often felt (65%) and 67.5% of them want to channel it. The meeting of sexual need among them was done through two ways, i.e., the channelization of sexual desire with the most doing masturbation (25.97%) and the shifting of sexual desire with the most perfoming religious services and reciting Quran (67.53%).
