ANALISIS DAYA SAING EKSPOR DAN DETERMINAN EKSPOR KARET ALAM INDONESIA DI 10 NEGARA TUJUAN EKSPOR UTAMA 2007 – 2012

Karet alam merupakan komoditas ekspor perkebunan Indonesia kedua terbesar setelah kelapa sawit. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan menganalisis daya saing ekspor karet alam Indonesia dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi ekspor karet alam Indonesia ke 10 negara tujuan ekspor utama. Revealed Symetric Comparative Advantage (RSCA) dan Trade Balance Index (TBI) merupakan alat analisis untuk menentukan daya saing ekspor karet alam Indonesia. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa karet alam Indonesia memiliki keunggulan komparatif yang tinggi dan Indonesia merupakan negara net exportir karet alam. Sedangkan model regresi data panel dengan menggunakan model fixed effect pada 10 negara tujuan ekspor utama karet alam Indonesia menunjukkan bahwa harga karet alam, pendapatan nasional negara tujuan ekspor, nilai tukar rupiah terhadap 10 negara tujuan ekspor, dan selera negara tujuan ekspor berpengaruh signifikan terhadap ekspor karet alam Indonesia

Natural rubber is a commodity plantations Indonesia’s second largest export after oil palm. This study purposes is to analyze the competitiveness of Indonesia’s natural rubber exports and the factors that affect Indonesia’s natural rubber exports to 10 major export destinations. Revealed Symetric Comparative Advantage (RSCA) and Trade Balance Index (TBI) are an analytical tools to determine the competitiveness of Indonesia’s natural rubber exports. The results showed that Indonesia’s natural rubber has high comparative advantage and Indonesia as net exporter of natural rubber. While the panel data regression models using a fixed effect model on 10 main export destinations showed that natural rubber prices, national income, the exchange rates, and preference of the country of export destinations has significant effect on Indonesia’s natural rubber exports.
