PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN TEPUNG BELALANG (Locusta migratoria) DALAM PAKAN TERHADAP PERFORMA DAN LEMAK ABDOMINAL AYAM KAMPUNG JANTAN

2014 | Skripsi | ILMU DAN INDUSTRI PETERNAKANPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan tepung belalang (Locusta migratoria) dalam pakan terhadap performa dan lemak abdominal ayam kampung jantan. Sebanyak 45 ekor ayam kampung jantan umur dua minggu, dibagi secara acak ke dalam lima macam perlakuan dengan tiap perlakuan terdiri dari tiga ulangan dan tiap ulangan terdiri dari tiga ekor. Perlakuan pakan pada penelitian ini terdiri atas lima macam, yaitu R0: 0 Tepung Belalang (TB); R1: 2,5 TB; R2: 5 TB; R3: 7,5 TB; R4: 10% TB. Pakan diformulasikan isoenergi (ME 2600 kcal/kg) dan isoprotein (Protein kasar 16 % ). Pakan dan air minum diberikan secara ad libitum. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan pakan memberikan pengaruh yang non signifikan (P>0.05) terhadap lemak abdominal (R0: 2,35; R1: 3,02; R2: 2,17; R3: 1,95; R4: 1,82%) dan pengaruh yang signifikan (P<0.05) terhadap konsumsi pakan (g/ekor) (R0: 1136,66; R1: 1250,00; R2: 1233,33; R3: 1016,66; R4: 900,00). Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan tepung belalang dalam pakan hingga level 10% tidak berpengaruh terhadap lemak abdominal pada ayam kampung jantan, namun pada level 2,5% akan meningkatkan konsumsi pakan ayam kampung jantan.
The experiment was conducted to know the effect of using grasshopper meal (Locusta migratoria) in the ration on the performance and abdominal fat deposition on male Native Chicken. Fourty five male Native Chicks two weeks of age were divided randomly into five treatments, in three replications with three chickens each. The diets treatments were R0, R1, R2, R3 and R4, consisting of grasshopper meal 0; 2.5; 5; 7.5; and 10 % respectively. The diets were made isocaloric (2600 kcal/kg ME) and isonitrogenous (16% CP). Feed and water were given in ad libitum. The results showed that level of grasshopper meal had caused non significant differences (P>0.05) on abdominal fat (R0: 2.35; R1: 3.02; R2: 2.17; R3: 1.95; R4: 1.82%) and had caused significant differences (P<0.05) on feed intake (R0: 1136.66; R1: 1250.00; R2: 1233.33; R3: 1016.66; R4: 900.00) (g/bird). It can be concluded that the using of grasshopper meal in diets up to 10% was not significant effect on abdominal fat deposition on male Native Chicken, but using of grasshopper meal in 2.5% level could increase to feed intake on male Native Chicken.
