Tugas Akhir ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan tentang music director di Geronimo FM, yang berfokus pada penerapan manjemen fungsi pada pekerjaan music director dalam proses memilih, mengedit, dan mengumpulkan musik pada tangga lagu Geronimo the Weekly TOP 40. Selain itu, tugas akhir ini menjelaskan bagaimana musik bisa dipertimbangkan untuk tangga lagu Geronimo the Weekly TOP 40. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi langsung, wawancara, dan studi kepustakaan. Observasi langsung dilakukan selama satu bulan agar dapat mengetahui tentang manajemen fungsi dari music director di Geronimo FM dalam proses memilih, mengedit, dan mengumpulkan musik dari tanggal 10 Maret 2014 – 21 Maret 2014. Wawancara dengan music director dari Geronimo FM dilakukan untuk memperoleh data dan informasi tentang music director di Geronimo FM. Studi kepustakaan dan internet juga dilakukan untuk mendapatkan informasi tambahan. Kesimpulannya, music director menangani semua musik di Geronimo FM. Musik director, Awang Adjiewasita mengatur dari perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pemasukan ide, dan pengawasan untuk megelola semua tanggung jawabnya. Manejemen ini digunakan untuk menyelesaikan pekerjaan tepat waktu.

This graduating paper aims to explain about music director in Geronimo FM which focus on the analyzing the application of management function in the process of selecting, editing, and compiling music of Geronimo the Weekly TOP40 chart by music director in Geronimo FM. Furthermore, this graduating paper explains about how music can be considered to enter of music chart of Geronimo the Weekly TOP40. The methods of collecting data are direct observation, interviews, and library research. Direct observation is conducted for about one month to know about the management function of the music director in Geronimo FM in process of selecting, editing, and compiling music from March 10th, 2014 – March 21st, 2014. Interview with the music director of Geronimo FM is carried out to get data and information about the music director in Geronimo FM. Meanwhile, the library and internet research are done to collect some additional information to enrich the data. The result of the research concludes that the music director handles all of music in Geronimo FM. The music director of Geronimo FM, Awang Adjiewasita, has management function of planning, organizing, influencing, and controlling to manage all of the duty. The management function is used to finish the deadline on time.
