Penilaian merupakan salah satu unsur terpenting dalam suatu sistem pendidikan. Untuk menghasilkan peserta didik yang berkualitas diperlukan penilaian dengan pendokumentasian yang berkualitas, dengan proses yang tepat, cepat dan akurat. Dalam proses pendidikan, proses penilaian perlu dilakukan sangat detail dan tepat untuk menentukan perkembangan hasil belajar mengajar peserta didik. Pengembangan sistem informasi akademik SMAN 2 Tasikmalaya mempunyai fungsi untuk memberikan informasi hasil kegiatan belajar mengajar peserta didik, sistem informasi ini dibangun menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP, basis data MySQL dan Twitter Bootstrap dalam pembuatan antarmuka. Sistem informasi ini dapat memberikan informasi hasil kegiatan belajar mengajar siswa seperti laporan hasil nilai ujian tengah semester, nilai rapor dan rekap nilai.

Assessment is one of the most important elements in the education system. Developing quality learners is necessary the documentation quality assessment with the appropriate processes, quickly and accurately. In the educational process, the assessment process needs to be carried out very detailed and precise to determine the development of the learning outcomes of students. Development of academic information systems at SMAN 2 Tasikmalaya serves to provide information on the results of teaching and learning activities of students. The information system built using the PHP programming language, MySQL database, and Twitter Bootstrap in the manufacturing interface. This information system provides information on results of student learning activities such as reports of midterm grades, grades and recaps grades.
