Laporan Tugas Akhir ini membahas tentang digitalisasi arsip kartografi di Kantor Arsip dan Perpustakaan Daerah Kota Yogyakarta. Digitalisasi adalah proses penciptaan arsip elektronik dari arsip konvensional yang bertujuan untuk melindungi arsip konvensional itu sendiri. Praktek Kerja lapangan ini bertujuan sebagai wadah yang dapat mengetahui secara langsung bagaimana cara dan proses digitalisasi arsip kartografi di Kantor Arsip dan Perpustakaan Daerah Kota Yogyakarta. Adapun ruang lingkup dari permasalahan antara lain proses digitalisasi arsip kartografi, penyimpanan dan kendala yang dihadapi selama PKL di kantor Arsip dan Perpustakaan Daerah Kota Yogyakarta. Penulisan tugas akhir ini menggunakan tiga metode yaitu observasi, wawancara dan studi pustaka. Pertama observasi yaitu melihat secara langsung bagaimana proses digitalisasi di kantor Arsip dan Perpustakaan Daerah Kota Yogyakarta. Kedua wawancara yaitu melakukan kegiatan Tanya jawab langsung dengan narasumber. Dan yang terakhir adalah studi pustaka yaitudengan menggunakan beberapa referensi dala penyusuna tugas akhir. Kesimpulan dari Laporan Tugas Akhir ini bahwa proses digitalisasi arsip kartografi di kantor Arsip dan Perpustakaan Daerah Kota Yogyakarta belum sepenuhnya berjalan dengan baik dikarenakan masih terbatasnya SDM dan prasarana dan sarana penunjang, sehingga proses pelaksanaan kegiatan digitalisasi di Instansi tersebut sedikit mengalami kendala.

This final report discusses the Cartographic archives digitalization in Kantor Arsip dan Perpustakaan Daerah Kota Yogyakarta (The Library and Regional Archives of Yogyakarta). Digitizing is the process of creating an electronic files of conventional archive which aims to protect it. Fieldwork Practice is intended as a space to directly determine the process of cartographic archive. The problems are; the process of cartographic archives digitization, storage and obstacles encountered during field work in the Office of Library and Archive of Yogyakarta. The methods of this final report namely : observation, interviews, and literature, to knows how the digitalization process. The first observation, see directly how the digitization process in the office of Archives and Libraries. The second is the interview which is conducting questions and answers face to face with the speakers. And the last is literature that using some references in the preparation of the final project. After conducting research, it is concluded that the process of digitizing the archive library and Archives Office of yogyakarta has limited human resources and infrastructures that causes digital activities in those units is experiencing a few problems.
