This is done by analyzing Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) of the city of Surakarta and Central Java Province. The data used in this research is secondary data in the form of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at constant prices, obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics of the city of Surakarta and Central Java Province. Result ofthis research shows that leading sectors in the city of Surakarta are building sector;trading, hotel and restaurant sectors; finance, leasing, and business services sector; and services sector.
