Hubungan pengetahuan, sikap, dan praktik guru dengan perilaku konsumsi makan murid Sekolah Dasar di Kecamatan Depok, Sleman, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta

Latar belakang: Makan pagi dan konsumsi makanan tambahan, selingan, atau jajanan terbukti mempengaruhi konsentrasi belajar murid. Dalam proses belajar mengajar, guru memegang peran penting, termasuk mengubah perilaku makan Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan, sikap, dan praktik guru dengan perilaku konsumsi makan murid. Metode: Penelitian noneksperimen dengan rancangan cross sectional, dilakukan pada 57 guru dan 256 murid kelas 5 SD Negeri di Kecamatan Depok. Sampel guru adalah total populasi, sampel murid ditentukan secara proportional random sampling dan diundi. Pengumpulan data guru serta data pengetahuan dan sikap murid dengan kuesioner (self- enumeration), praktik konsumsi makan murid dengan wawancara, sedangkan data orang tua melalui formulir daftar isian yang dititipkan kepada murid. Hasil: Lebih banyak guru memperoleh skor pengetahuan dan sikap kurang, tetapi skor praktik baik. Sebagian besar murid memperoleh skor perilaku baik (pengetahuan, sikap, praktik) (skor > median). Kebiasaan murid adalah makan pagi (90,2%), jajan (99,2%), tidak membawa bekal makanan (64,8%) dan minuman (36,7%) ke sekolah. Alasan tidak makan pagi antara lain karena tidak sempat atau malas, sedangkan alasan tidak membawa bekal antara lain lebih suka jajan atau malas. Kesimpulan: Tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan, sikap, dan praktik guru dengan perilaku konsumsi makan murid (p>0,05).

Background: Breakfast and consumption of food supplement, additional food, and snack affect student concentration in studying. In the process of teaching and learning, a teacher plays an important role, including changing school student's food habit. This study was aimed at finding out the relationship between knowledge, attitude, and practice of teachers and school student's food habit. Methods: This was a non-experimental study using a cross-sectional approach conducted on 57 teachers and 256 grade-5 school student of state elementary schools in Depok subdistrict. The teacher samples were the total population, while the student samples were decided through proportional random sampling and draw. The data of teachers included knowledge and attitude of school student obtained via self-enumeration questionnaires, while data of food consumption practice were obtained through interviews. Data of parents were obtained through forms distributed via the school student. Results: More teachers got less score in knowledge and attitude, but the score for practice was good. Most school student got good score for behavior (knowledge, attitude, and practice)(score > median). School student's habit for having breakfast (90,2%); snack (99,2%); and those without food to bring to school (64,8%) and without drink (36,7%). Those who did not breakfast were because they did not have time or lazy to eat; while those without food to bring to school were because they preferred to buy food or lazy to bring. Conclusion: There is no significant relationship between knowledge, attitude, and practice of teachers and the food habit among school student's (p>0,05).
