Laporan tugas akhir ini menjelaskan tentang Pengolahan arsip tekstual pemugaran Candi Borobudur. Rekaman informasi atau data merupakan nilai pokok dalam perjalanan atau kisah sebuah organisasi. Kearsipan sebagai ilmu yang memiliki peranan untuk menyelamatkan nilai-nilai informasi tersebut. Tujuan dari pengolahan arsip pemugaran adalah menyelamatkan informasi data tersebut sehingga isi informasi yang terkandung tidak hilang termakan usia. Penulisan Tugas Akhir ini menggunakan tiga metode yang berbeda. Metode tersebut terdiri dari studi pustaka yaitu menggunakan referensi serta undang-undang dan internet dalam penyusunan tugas akhir ini. Selain itu metode wawancara adalah meawancarai langsung pihak yang bersangkutan dan mempunyai kapasitas di bagian arsip tekstual pemugaran. Sedangkan metode observasi partisipasi secara langsung terjun dalam proses pengolahan arsip pemugaran. Ketiga metode tersebut dijadikan sumber informasi dasar dalam penulisan tugas akhir arsip tekstual pemugaran. Kesimpulan dari laporan tugas akhir ini dalam kegiatan pengolahan arsip tekstual pemugaran adalah penemuan kembali arsip yang dibutuhkan, selain itu sebagai langkah preservasi dengan melindungi isi informasi arsip guna kepentingan bangsa. Pelaksanaan proses pengolahan arsip itu sendiri terdiri dari langkah survei arsip, pemilahan, manuver berkas, pembungkusan arsip, pendiskripsian arsip, pembuatan skema dan pembuatan daftar pertelaan arsip. Ketersediaan pegawai serta sarana dan prasarana dalam melaksanakan pengolahan arsip pemugaran dirasa cukup baik.

This final report describes the arrangement of textual record restoration of Borobudur Temple. Recording of information or data is the main value in transit or the story of an organization. Record science has a role to save the values of such information. The purpose of the preparation of record reconstruction process is to save information. Thus, the contents of the information are not lost in the passage of the age. This final project uses three different methods. The method consists of using the reference library studies as well as laws and the internet in the preparation of this final project. In addition, interview method is to interview the related party which has capacity in the textual record restoration directly. Where as the method of observation is participate in the processing of record reconstruction process directly. Those methods are the basic source of information used in the writing final project of the textual restoration. The conclusion of this graduating paper in the restoration textual record arrangement is finding aids the needed record and being preservative step by protecting the core of document information for the nation-interest. Implementation of the arrangement process the record consists of the surveying record, sorting, maneuvering, covering, describing, making schemes, and creating list of record. The availability of facilities and infrastructure as well as employees in the performance of preparation record restoration proved good enough.
